Selectively allocating spare parts – An overview

Allocate Parts - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to make a selective allocation of an item across work orders to which the item has been allocated. You can selectively allocate the item that you have selected in the “Allocate Parts” page. You can also enter an item directly in this page and allocate it selectively across work orders to which the item has been assigned.

The system retrieves all the work orders to which the item has been allocated in the multiline. You can then remove quantities of the item from one work order and allocate it for another work order. The system automatically adds or reduces the allocated quantity of the item that is required for carrying out the work order.
