Create Currency and Country – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create a currency and a country. A currency is as unique as a country. It is very rare that different countries adopt the same currency. An example is the “Euro”, used widely across the European countries. Existing currencies and countries have already been assigned codes by the International Standardization Organization (ISO). These defined currencies and countries are available from existing data. If a new country is formed in the world, which has a new currency, you can use this activity to add it to the currencies and countries database.

This activity can also be used to add new currencies in case an existing country wants to adopt an extra currency for its transaction. Along with the currency you can also define its denominations. The system stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the newly created currency, currency denominations and country details.
