Equipment Failure Analysis

In this activity, you can generate a report listing out the list of different failures, number of times the failure occurred, total downtime hours & maintenance cost for a particular failure and MTTR to fix that failure. This report can be generated for different equipments or locations, equipment/ location criticality, equipment / location failure group or classification/ subclassification, period and problem code.

Select the “Equipment Failure Analysis” link under the “Reports For EAM Setup” business component.

The “Equipment Failure Analysis” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Report Criteria” group box:

Report On	Use the drop-down list box to select the report. The combo is loaded with the options “Equipment” and “Location”.
Equipment / Location	The identifier of the equipment or location. You can enter the equipment or location code in full or specify it partially.
Criticality	Use the drop-down list box to select the criticality of the failure. The combo is loaded with the values “Blank”, “Critical”, “Low” and “Medium”.
Failure Group	The failure group of the
Classification	The classification to which the equipment belongs. You can enter the classification in full or specify it partially.
Sub Classification	The sub-classification to which the equipment belongs. You can enter the sub-classification in full or specify it partially.
Period From	The starting date from which you wish to view the equipment movements that has happened.
Period To	The date till which you wish to view the equipment movements that has happened.
Group By	Use the drop-down list to specify the order in which the entries in the report will be grouped. The combo is loaded with the options “Criticality”, “Failure Group” and “Classification”.
Problem Code	The code identifying the problem for failure.
