Help on Party Code

This page allows you to retrieve the party code for viewing / modification and for recording investment details.
Select the “Party Code” help under the Maintain / View Party Details activity under the “Financial Services Setup” business component.
The “Help on Party Code” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the Search Criteria:

Party Code From |
The starting code in the range of codes identifying the Party Code that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the Party codes that are similar to the value entered here. |

To |
The ending code in the range of codes identifying the Party Code that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the Party Codes that are similar to the value entered here. |

Party Type |
Use the drop down list box to select the Type of Party. The combo will be loaded with Entities defined for the party type in the Financial Services Setup component. |

Party Name |
The name of the party. |

Status |
Use the drop down list box to select the status of the party code. The combo is loaded with options “Active”, “Inactive” and “All”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Party Type |
The type of the party. |

Party Code |
The code identifying the Party. |
|
Party Name |
The name of the party. |
|
Status |
The status of the party Code. |
Select the required party code and click “OK”.
The system transfers the party code details to the main page.
