Use this page to maintain the department details.
Select “Maintain Department” from the left pane.
The "Maintain Department" page appears.
The system displays the following.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Specify the following.
HR Set Up Unit |
The setup unit in which the HR setup component is deployed. |
You can specify the following details in the multiline.
Department Code |
The code of the department |
Department |
The textual description of the department |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the department which could be "Active" or "Inactive". |
To save the details
Select the “Maintain Department” pushbutton to save the details
On selecting the “Maintain Department” pushbutton, the following details are displayed in the multiline.
Created By |
The name of the user who created the details of the department. |
Created Date |
The date on which the details of the department was created. |
Last Mod. By |
The name of the user who modified the existing department details. |
Last Mod. Date |
The latest date on which the department details were modified. |
