Through this activity, you can create and define a department for an organization. Departments refer to the functional units into which an organization is divided, for efficient execution of work and administrative convenience. For example, Human Resources department handles all aspects of work pertaining to the hiring of employees and staffing the other departments with competent employees.

In addition, the system gives you the flexibility of activating or deactivating the department whenever necessary. If you choose to activate the department, it means that it will be available for use in other activities.

Further, you can also modify the details pertaining to the defined departments of the organization.
