Help on Qualification

This page allows you to retrieve the qualification details that are already defined. You can carry out the search using the qualification code, its description and level, specialization area, and qualification type. Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the details of the qualification.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Qualification Code” field in the Record Qualification Information page.

The “Help on Qualification” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” header:

Qualification Code	The unique code identifying the qualification. Enter a specific search parameter for the code. If you enter the search parameter as “ Q0 ”, the system will fetch all the records whose prefix begins with “Q” and whose numeric value of the code begins with “0”, for example, QFN0001, and QFN0002. Specify the required combination of the wild cards for the search such as, FN and QN*001.
Qualification Desc.	The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS and MBA. If you specify the search criteria for the qualification description as "MBBS", without wild cards, the system will fetch only those records whose description is "MBBS". If you specify the search criteria as "MB*", with wild cards, the system will fetch all the records whose description begins with "MB", for example, MBBS and MBA. Enter a specific search parameter for the qualification description.

Qualification Level	The academic level of the qualification such as graduation and post graduation. From the drop-down list box, select the required qualification level for the search.
Specialization	The specific area of study, for example, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. From the drop-down list box, select the required specialization for the search.
Qualification Type	The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification and Degree. From the drop-down list box, select the required qualification type for the search.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Qualification Code	The unique code of the qualification.
Qualification Desc.	The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS and MBA applicable to the selected qualification code.
Qualification Level	The academic level of the qualification such as graduation, post-graduation applicable to the selected qualification code.
Specialization	The specific area of study. For example, if the qualification specified is engineering, it indicates the specific area such as, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering to which the qualification pertains.
Qualification Type	The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification and Degree applicable to the selected qualification code.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the qualification code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
