This page allows you to retrieve the details of position that are already defined. You can carry out the search using the position code, its control ID and title, employment unit, job, department, and grade. Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the details of the position.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Position” field in the Create Non Regular Employee Assignment page.
The “Help on Position” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” header:

Position Code |
The code identifying the position. To view all the position codes containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these position codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: PSN1*,PN*12, PS*1 etc. |

Position Control ID |
The control identifier of the corresponding position. To view all the position control IDs containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these position control IDs. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: MN1*, M*12, MN*1. |
|
Position Title |
The title of the corresponding position. To view all the position titles containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these employment units. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: *MANAGER, TRAINEE*, MAN*R. |

The grade set applicable to the corresponding position. To view all the grade sets containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these grade sets. |

The grade applicable to the corresponding position. To view all the grades containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of these grades. |

Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The business unit of the corresponding position. |

The employment unit of the corresponding position. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the position.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
