Disposition Review – An overview
You can select the stocking point and the warehouse at which the items are stocked. Based on the selection, the item is retrieved by the system. You can view the stock or specify the required unit of measure for the selected item. You can explode the disposition details either for the range of dates specified or for a specific date. The stock of the items pending, available and required in the future can be displayed.
For the dates specified, the system retrieves the planned or firmed receipts and planned or firmed demands along with the date in the multiline. For example, let us assume that there are 4 receipts (Work Orders) i.e. WO1 in “Started” status with 100 quantity, WO2 in “Accepted” status with 40 quantity, WO3 in “Firmed” status with 50 quantity and WO4 in “Requested” status with 75 quantity. The demands (Sale Orders and Forecast Demands) against each receipt are SO1 with 25 quantity, SO2 with 75 quantity, SO3 with 50 quantity, FC1 with 50 quantity, FC2 with 70 quantity. If the review from and to date are specified as “05/01/03” and “28/01/03”, then the system displays the firm and planned receipts/demands as follows:
|
Date |
Firm Receipt |
Plan Receipt |

Plan Demand |

05/01/03 |

08/01/03 |

|

In the above table, the demands 25 (SO1) and 50 (FC1) are satisfied against WO1, the remaining 25 units of WO1 are reserved against 25 (SO2); the remaining 50 (SO2) are satisfied against WO3. The entire 50 (SO3) is satisfied by WO4, the remaining 25 units of WO4 are reserved against 25 units (FC2). The next 25 units (FC2) are reserved with WO2.
The work orders that are less than “Firmed” status are considered as planned receipts and greater than or equal to “Firmed” status are considered as firmed receipts. The sale order demands are considered as firmed demands and forecasts are considered as planned demands. You can select each record containing either the demand or receipt details and can initiate the link at the bottom of the page to view the corresponding receipt or issue information.
