This report allows you to view the stock discrepancy analysis. Report Information.
Select the “Stock Discrepancy Analysis” link under the “INVReports” business component.
The “Stock Discrepancy Analysis Based On Physical Count” page appears.
Enter the following field details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Stock Discrepancy Analysis Report For |
Use the drop-down list box to select the level at which you want to view the stock discrepancy report. The options available in the drop-down list box are “Warehouse”, “OU” and “Zone”. The system displays “OU” as the default value on launch of the page.

Note: Warehouse code is selected only if Warehouse or zone option is chosen.

Warehouse Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse code. The system retrieves all the non-capital warehouses applicable for the login OU in ascending order. The first value is displayed as the default value on launch of the page. |
Note: Zone is selected only if Zone option is chosen

Zone |
Use the drop-down list box to select the zone. The system retrieves all the zones for the defaulted warehouse, if it is a normal warehouse. The first value is displayed as the default value on launch of the page. |

Item Selection Options |
Use the drop-down list box to select whether the items for which you want to view the stock discrepancy is based on “Item Type”, “Item Group” or “Item Category”. The system displays “Item Type” as the default value on launch of the page. |
Note: Item Category Code is selected only if “Item Category” option is chosen in the “Item Selection Options” drop-down.

Item Category Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the item category code. The system retrieves all the item categories defined for the LO in ascending order with the first value as the default value on launch of the page. |

Item Group Selection Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select whether the item group is “Group type based” or “Item Attached Groups”. |
Note: Item Group Code is selected only if “Item Attached Groups” is chosen in Item Group Selection Option drop-down.

Item Group Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Item Group Code. The system retrieves all the active Item group in which Items are attached to it in the ascending order. . The first value in the drop-down list box is displayed as the default value on launch of the page. |

Use the drop-down list box to view only those items for which Discrepancy quantity is less than, equal to or greater than the discrepancy quantity you specify in the text box. The options available are “=”, “<”, “>” and blank. The system displays blank as the default value on launch of the page. |

Value Discrepancy |
Use the drop-down list box to view only those items for which the discrepancy value is less than, equal to or greater than the discrepancy value you specify in the text box. The options available are “=”, “<”, “>” and blank. The system displays blank as the default value on launch of the page. |

Item Class |
Use the drop-down list box to select the item class. The options available are "None", "A", "B, "C", "A & B", "A & C", "B &C", "A, B & C" and "ALL". The system displays “All” as the default value on launch of the page. |

Click the “View Report” pushbutton to view the stock discrepancy details.
Stock Discrepancy Analysis – An overview
This report allows you to view the stock discrepancy analysis. Stock Discrepancy is the difference between the system stock and the actual stock counted during the physical inventory process.
This report allows you to view details for an item-variant such as, system quantity, counted quantity, recount quantity, discrepant quantity, discrepancy in %, discrepancy value and status.
This page allows you to specify the search conditions for viewing the discrepancy details. You can specify the level at which you want to view the discrepancy details that is, OU, Warehouse or Zone. The warehouse code is specified if warehouse option is selected. Similarly, zone is specified if zone option is selected.
You can select the Item Selection Option from the drop-down list box. The three options available are “Item Group”, “Item Category” and “Item Type”.
Item Group – You must select a value from the “Item Group Selection Option”. The options available are “Group Type Based” and “Item Attached Groups”. Group Type and Item Group at different Levels must be selected if the first option is chosen. The Item Group Code is selected if the second option is chosen.
Item Category – You must select the Item Category Code and the corresponding Item Category description will be displayed automatically.
Item Type – You can select one or more or all the types of item for which you want to view the stock discrepancy.
You can also directly specify the range of item codes in the Item Selection group box. Discrepancy Quantity, Discrepancy value and item class can also be specified.
Output For the Report “Stock Discrepancy Analysis”:
Header Information:
It displays the respective OU/Warehouse/zone which was selected in the Entrypage . It also displays the Group code / Group type / Group Category based on the selection in the entry page in the “Item group selection option “. The base Currency and an Unique “Report ID “ are also shown
Column Information:
The column fields displayed are Item code, Variant code, Item var desc ( Item Variant Description), Item type, Item Class, Stock UOM, System Qty., Counted Qty., Recount Qty., Discrepant Qty., Discrepancy % , Discrepancy Value, Status
- Item Code, Variant code, Item variant description, Item type, Stock UOM for the respective Items for the BU/OU/Warehouse will be displayed in the respective columns.
- The classification of item based on the consumption value A,B,C.. ) will be displayed in the Item class column based on the selection in the Entry page.
- Current stock on hand as per the system for the item will be displayed in System Qty. column
- Counted Qty. (either during PI or CC) and Recount Qty. if any will be displayed in their respective columns.
- The difference between System Qty. and Counted Qty or Recount Qty. will be displayed in the “Discrepant Qty.,” column and the corresponding value (either Negative or Positive) will be displayed in Discrepant value column
- Quantity Discrepancy % is obtained by dividing the Discrepant Qty. by the system quantity and will be be displayed in “Discrepancy %” column.
- Status of the Item like “For Adjustment” / “Adjusted “/ No adjustment will be displayed in Status column
- If the Quantity discrepancy % in entry page is not specified then all the selcted items will be displayed along with the calculated Quantity discrepancy %
- If Value discrepancy % in entry page is not blank then only those items whose quantity discrepancy % match the filter criteria (>, <, +) for the specified Quantity discrepancy % will be displayed
- If the value discrepancy in entry page is not specified then all the selected items will be displayed along with the calculated value discrepancy
- If Value discrepancy in entry page is not blank then only those items whose value discrepancy match the filter criteria (>, <, +) for the specified value discrepancy will be displayed.
Footer Information:
The date and Time of running the report will be displayed at the bottom left side of the report.
Corresponding page number will be displayed at the bottom right side of the report.
