Process Mutual Fund / Share Payment
This page allows you to process the payments made for the purchase of investments regarding mutual funds/ shares.
Select the “Process Mutual Fund / Share Payment” activity under the “Investment Transactions” business component.
The “Process Mutual Fund / Share Payment” page appears.

Enter the following fields:

Payment No |
A unique number identifying the payment transaction would get updated here based on the numbering type selected. |

Payment Description |
The textual description of the payment number provided. |
|
Payment Status |
The status of the document would get displayed here. |
|
Nature |
The type of investment for which the payments are to be processed to be selected here. |
|
Finance Book |
Select the finance book from the drop down list to which the payment related entries should get posted. |

Payment Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for the login organization unit and the “Process Mutual Fund / Share Payment” transaction type. The numbering types must have already been defined in the “Create Numbering Class” activity of the “Document Numbering Class” business component and must be in “Active” status. The system displays the numbering type set as default for the transaction in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Payment Type |
To indicate whether the payment made for acquiring mutual funds/ shares is of type regular or advance. |
Enter the following fields in the “Payment Information” group box:

Payee |
The name of the person or organization to which the payment is to be made (Alphanumeric 40). Mandatory. |

Pay Date |
The date on which the payment is to be made (Date Format). Mandatory. The system date is displayed as the default date. Note: This date must be the same as or later than the date on which the payment was requested. |

Pay Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the currency code in which the payment is to be made. All the currencies mapped to the login company will be available for selection in the ascending order. The system displays base currency of the company by default on launch of the page. |

Exchange Rate |
The exchange rate used to calculate the base currency amount if the pay currency is different from the base currency of the company (Decimal). Mandatory. The exchange rate must have been defined in the “Create Exchange Rate” activity of the “Exchange Rate” business component. The exchange rate must be greater than zero. If the pay currency is the same as the base currency of the company then the exchange rate is set as “1”. The system displays “1” (one) by default on launch of the page. Note: The exchange rate must not exceed the tolerance limit or the tolerance percentage (whichever is applicable) defined in the “Create Exchange Rate” activity of the “Exchange Rate” business component. |

Amount invested |
The total amount invested should be mentioned here. |

Payment Method |
Use the drop-down list box to select a method of payment. The system displays “Regular” by default on launch of the page. |
|
Payment Route |
Use the drop-down list box to select the way in which the payment has to be made. You can select from “Bank” or “Cash”. The system displays “Bank” by default on launch of the page. |
|
Pay Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to select the mode in which the payment is to be made to the payee. The system displays the values as defined in the "Bank Definition" business component. |

Bank Cash / Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the bank or cash codes. These codes must have been defined in the “Create Bank / Cash Details” activity of the “Bank Cash Definition” business component and must be in the “Active” status. The bank / cash codes created in the login organization unit will be available for selection in the alphabetical order. |

The description of the bank/ cash code. |

Payment Release Point |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit from which the payment has to be released. The system lists all the organization units, which are mapped to the login organizational unit. The system displays the payment release point set as default in the “Set Function Defaults” activity of this business component on launch of the page. |

Remarks |
Any remarks related to the payment can be captured here. |

SNP Voucher No. |
The sundry payment voucher getting generated would get displayed here. |
|
SNP Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for the login organization unit and the “Sundry Payment” transaction type. The numbering types must have already been defined in the “Create Numbering Class” activity of the “Document Numbering Class” business component and must be in “Active” status. The system displays the numbering type set as default for the transaction in the “Document Numbering Class” business component. |

Fund ID |
The fund id against which the payment is to be made to be mentioned here. |

Fund ID Description |
The description of the fund id would get displayed here. |

Share ID |
The share id against which the payment is to be made to be mentioned here. |

Share ID Description |
The description of the share id would get displayed here. |

Scheme Name |
The name of the scheme for the fund would get displayed here. |
|
Share Name |
The name of the share would get displayed here. |
|
Fund Type |
The type of fund would get displayed here. |
|
Share Type |
The type of share would get displayed here. |
|
Account Code |
The account code assigned to the mutual fund/ share would get displayed here. |
|
Account Description |
The description of the account code would get displayed here. |
|
Advance Account Code |
The advance account code assigned to the mutual fund/ share would get displayed here. |

Advance Account Code Description |
The description of the advance account code would get displayed here. |
|
Cost Center |
The cost center attached to the account code selected can be mentioned here for tracking the investments. |

Analysis Code |
The analysis code attached to the account code can be mentioned here for tracking purposes. |

Analysis Code Description |
The description of the analysis code would get displayed here. |

Sub Analysis Code |
The sub analysis code attached to the analysis code can be mentioned here for tracking the investments. |

The expense account code identifying the additional charges to be mentioned here. |

The amount of charges to be mentioned here. |

The cost center attached to the account code selected can be mentioned here for tracking the investments. |

Click the “Compute” push button for the system to display the “Total” amount of payment.
Click the “Create” push button to save the entered details.
The login id of the user gets updated under “Created By” and the date of creation under “Created Date” on click of “Create” push button for the first time.
The login id of the user gets updated under “Last Modified By” and the date of modification under “Last Modified Date” on click of “Create” push button from the second time onwards.
The status of the document turns into “Fresh” status.
Click the “Edit” push button to edit the entered details.
The login id of the user gets updated under “Modified By” and the date of modification under “Modified Date” on click of “Edit” push button.
The status of the document remains the same.
Click the “Authorize” push button to authorize the entered details.
The login id of the user gets updated under “Modified By” and the date of modification under “Modified Date” on click of “Edit” push button.
The status of the document turns into “Requested/Paid” depending on the Pay Mode selected.
