Help On Port
This Help page allows you to search and select a port code and transfer the details to the required field. You can search for a port code by specifying the port details in the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the port codes created previously. The selected port code is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Port” field.
The “Help on Port” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a port code.
Port Code |
The unique code identifying the port. |
Port Name |
The name of the port. You can specify this name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the port names that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the port codes irrespective of the port names on the execution of “Get Details” button. |
Port Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of port. The combo is loaded with the values “Sea Port”, “Air Port” and “Rail Terminal”. |
Location |
The unique code that identifies the location mapped to the port. |
Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered values.
Port Code |
The unique code identifying the port. |
Port Name |
The name of the port. |
Port Type |
The type of port. |
Location |
The unique code that identifies the location mapped to the port. |
Select the required row in the multiline to transfer the port code in the required page.
Click the “OK” button.
