Help On Quick Code
This Help page allows you to search and select a quick code number and transfer the details to the require field. You can search for a quick code by specifying the code type in the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the quick codes created previously. The selected code is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Code” field.
The “Quick Code Help” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a quick code.
Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the quick code. The system displays the code types as defined in “Quick Codes” activity. The system defaults the quick code based on the place where the help is clicked. |
Code |
The code identifying the quick code. This can be a combination of characters and digits. You can specify this number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the code’s that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the code numbers irrespective of the code type on the execution of “Search” button. |
Description |
A textual description of the quick code. You can specify this description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the code descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the quick codes irrespective of the code description on the execution of “Search” button. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “All” by default on the launch of the page. |
Default |
Use the drop-down list box to decide whether the quick code needs to be displayed as the default value for the class code. Yes - Indicates that the quick code is displayed as the default value. No - Indicates that the quick code is not displayed as the default value. |
Category |
Use the drop-down list to select the category of the quick code. The combo is loaded with the values “All”, “System Defined” and “User Defined” as options. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered values.

The code identifying the quick code to be viewed. |
Description |
The description of the quick code. |
Default |
The defaulted quick code |
Sequence No. |
The sequence number of the quick code. |
Status |
The status of the quick code. |
Select the required row in the multiline to transfer the quick code in the required page.
Click the “OK” button.
