Help On Leg/Route
This help page allows you to search and select a leg/route and transfer the details to the required field. You can search for a leg/route id by specifying the leg or route details in the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the leg/route id’s created previously. The selected leg or route ID is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Leg” or “Route” field.
The “Help on Leg/Route” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a Leg/Route ID.
Search For |
Use the drop-down list box to select the leg or route ID. The combo is loaded with the values “Leg” and “Route”. The system defaults the value based on the place where the help is clicked. |
ID |
The unique code identifying the leg or route. |
Description |
A short description of the leg or route. You can specify this description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the leg or route descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the leg or route IDs irrespective of the leg or route description on the execution of “Get Details” button. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the leg or route. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Transport Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to select the mode of transport. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “Quick Codes” activity, viz. (Air, Rail, Road and Sea). |
Note: The below fields are visible only if the “Search For” is “Leg”.
From Geo |
The geo location from which the leg is to be retrieved. |
To Geo |
The geo location till which the leg is to be retrieved. |
Note: The below fields are visible only if the “Search For” is “Route”.
Service Type |
The type of service routes like Door to Door, Hub to Hub, Door to Hub, Hub to Door, Express Service, etc. |
Sub Service Type |
The type of sub service routes like Inter State, Regional, State and National |
Leg ID |
The unique code identifying the leg mapped to the route. |
Route Valid From |
The date from which the route is valid. |
Route Valid To |
The date till which the route is valid. |
Behaviour |
Use the drop-down list box to select the behaviour of shipment. The combo is loaded with the values “Pickup”, “Delivery”, “Pre-Load”, “Back to Hub”, “Vendor Transfer In”, “CHA”, “Pre-Delivery VAS”, and “Post-Delivery VAS" etc. The system displays “Pickup” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered values.
ID |
The unique code identifying the leg or route. |
Description |
A short description of the leg or route. |
Status |
The status of the leg or route. |
Transport Mode |
The mode of transport like Air, Rail, Road and Sea. |
Note: The below fields are visible only if the “Search For” is “Leg”.
From Geo |
The geo location from which the leg is retrieved. |
To Geo |
The geo location till which the leg is retrieved. |
Note: The below fields are visible only if the “Search For” is “Route”.
Service Type |
The type of service routes like Door to Door, Hub to Hub, Door to Hub, Hub to Door, Express Service, etc. |
Sub Service Type |
The type of sub service routes like Inter State, Regional, State and National |
Leg ID |
The unique code identifying the leg mapped to the route. |
Route Valid From |
The date from which the route is valid. |
Route Valid To |
The date till which the route is valid. |
Behaviour |
The behavior of shipment. |
Select the required row in the multiline to transfer the Leg or Route ID in the required page.
Click the “OK” button.
