Help On Geography

This Help page allows you to search and select a geo code (City, Country, Postal Code, State, Zone, Sub Zone and Region) and transfer the details to the required field. You can search for a geo code by specifying the geo type and geo code as the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the geo codes created previously. The selected geo code is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to “Country, State, City, Postal Code, Region, Zone and Subzone” fields.

The “Help on Geography” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a geo code.

Geo Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of geography. The combo is loaded with the City, Country, Postal Code, State, Zone, Sub Zone and Region
Geo	The unique code identifying the geography.
Geo Description	A textual description of the geography. You can specify this description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the geographic descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the geo codes irrespective of the geo description on the execution of “Get Details” button.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of geography. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered values.

Geo Type	The type of geography.
Geo	The unique code identifying the geography.
Geo Description	The description of the geography.
Status	The status of geography.

Select the required row in the multiline to transfer the geo code in the required page.
Click the “OK” button.
