Help On Location/Division
This Help page allows you to search and select a location or division code and transfer the details to the required field. You can search for a location or division code by specifying the location or division or other filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the location or division codes created previously. The selected location or division code is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Location” or “Division” field.
The “Help on Location/Division” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a location or division code.
Search For |
Use the drop-down list box to select the location or division code. The combo is loaded with the values “Location” and “Division”. The system defaults the value based on the place where the help is clicked. |
Location |
The unique code identifying the location. Note: This field is visible only if the “Search For” is “Location”. |
Division |
The unique code identifying the division. Note: This field is visible only if the “Search For” is “Division”. |
Description |
A textual description of the location/division. You can specify this description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the location/division descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the location or division codes irrespective of the location/division description on the execution of “Get Details” button. When the Search For is Location this field acts as Location Description and if the search for is Division this field acts as Division Description. |
Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of location or division. The combo is loaded with the values “Warehouse”, “Hub”, “Booking Office”, ”Airport”, “Seaport”, “Railway Terminal”, “Waypoint” if the “Search For” is selected as “Location”. The combo is loaded with the values “Warehouse”, “Freight Forwarding”, “Networking” and “Road” if the “Search For” is selected as “Division”. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of location/division. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer who is mapped to the location or division. |

Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered.
Location |
The code identifying the location to be viewed. The field is visible only if the Search For is selected as Location. |
Description |
The description of the location. The field is visible only if the Search For is selected as Location. |
Division |
The code identifying the division to be viewed. |
Description |
The description of the division. |
Type |
The type of location or division. |
Status |
The status of location or division. |
Select the required row in the multiline to transfer the location or division code in the required page.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
