Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

The “THU” page appears.

      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

To create a new THU

THU ID

A unique ID identifying the Transport Handling Unit (THU). (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of alphabets and numbers, and cannot be left blank.

THU Class

Use the drop-down list box to select the class of the THU. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “Quick Codes” activity.

THU Description

The description of the THU. (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory.

Bulk

Select the checkbox to enable the multiline in the Characteristics tab.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on the launch of the page. Mandatory.

Reason Code

The code identifying the reason for which the status has to be changed. (Alphanumeric, 40). This field is mandatory if the status is “Inactive”.

Reason Description

On enter of reason code, the system displays the description of the reason.

Tab – Characteristics

Tare Weight

The tare weight of the THU. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory.

Max. allowable

The maximum allowable weight of the THU. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory.

UOM

Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement of weight. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “ UOM Masters mapped to the entity Weight” The system displays “Blank” by default on the launch of the page. Mandatory.

THU Material

Use the drop-down list box to select the material in which the THU is made. The combo is loaded with the values “Quick Codes” activity. Mandatory.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the THU Material is provided here. This is fetched from UOM Masters in Inventory Management

Length

The length of the interior dimension. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory

Width

The width of the interior dimension. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory

Height

The height of the interior dimension. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory

UOM

Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement of interior dimension. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “UOM Masters mapped to the entity Dimensions” The system displays “Blank” by default on the launch of the page. Mandatory.

Length

The length of the exterior dimension. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory

Width

The width of the exterior dimension. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory

Height

The height of the exterior dimension. (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory.

UOM

Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement of exterior dimension. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in “UOM Masters mapped to the entity Dimensions” The system displays “Blank” by default on the launch of the page. Mandatory

The system displays the following details in the “Volume” group box based on the other characteristics given:

Internal

The internal volume of the THU. This is calculated based on the internal dimensions provided

Cubic

The unit of measurement of internal volume in cubic.

External

The external volume of the THU. This is calculated based on the external dimensions provided

Cubic

The unit of measurement of external volume in cubic.

UOM

The unit of measurements for the Bulk THU is provided here. This is fetched from the UOM Masters in Inventory Management.

Description

On select of UOM, the system displays the description of UOM.

Note: This multiline is visible only if the bulk is checked in the header of this page.

Tab – Handling Equipment

Equipment Group

A unique code identifying the equipment group to be mapped to THU. (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. This field is fetched from Equipment Group masters.

On enter of Equipment Group, the system displays the following:

Description

The description of the equipment group.

Status The status of the equipment group

Tab – Vendor THU Reference

THU might belong to a Vendor or a Customer. We map the details of the belongings for future tracking

Vendor THU

The unique code identifying the vendor THU reference code. (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

Vendor ID

The unique code identifying the vendor ID to be mapped to the THU. (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory

Vendor Name

On enter of vendor ID the system displays the name of vendor. (Alphanumeric, 40). 

Customer ID

The unique ID identifying the customer to be mapped to the THU. (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory

Customer Name

On enter of customer ID, the system displays the name of customer. (Alphanumeric, 40). 

Vendor Account Number

The account number of the vendor. (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

Tab – Customer Notification

Customer ID

The ID that identifies the customer to whom the notification is to be sent. (Alphanumeric, 10). 

Customer Name

On enter of customer ID, the system displays the name of the customer. (Alphanumeric, 40). 

Email ID

The email ID of the customer. (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory.

Location Change

Select the checkbox to indicate the change in location. An email notification is sent to the customer to indicate the change in location of the THU.

Condition Change

Select the checkbox to indicate the change in condition. An email notification is sent to the customer to indicate the change in condition of the THU

Note: At least one row should be selected in the multiline.

On save, the system generates a THU and the status is updated as “Active”.

To modify an existing THU details

The following details are displayed in the multiline:

THU ID

The unique ID that identifies the THU.

Description

The description of THU.

 

 

The system displays the corresponding THU details in the right hand side header and tabs. You can modify the required fields.

The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:          

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the THU details. The date and time at which the THU details was created.

Modified By

The login ID of the user who modified the THU details. The date and time at which the THU details was last modified.
