Renew Lease

This activity allows you to extend the date of the lease thereby renewing the lease. The lease numbers in “Expired” status will only be fetched for renewal.

Select the “Renew Lease” activity under the “Leasing” business component.

The “Renew Lease” page appears.

- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Enter the following in the “Search Details” group box:

Lease No From	The starting number in the range of lease numbers from which the details are to be fetched for renewing the lease.
Lease No To	The ending number in the range of lease numbers until which the details are to be fetched for renewing the lease.
Lease Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the lease by which the lease details are to be fetched. The combo is loaded with options “Mall” and “Corporate”.
Lease Category	Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the lease. The combo is loaded with the options defined for the Category – Lease Category in “Maintain Categories” activity.
Expiry Date From	The start date in the range of lease expiry date from which the details are to be fetched.
Expiry Date To	The end date in the range of lease expiry date until which the details are to be fetched.
Scheme Code	The code identifying the scheme by which the lease details are to be fetched.
Scheme Name	The name of the scheme by which the lease details are to be fetched.
Customer Code	The code identifying the customer by which the lease details are to be fetched.
Customer Name	The name of the customer by which the lease details are to be fetched.

Click the “Search” button to search the lease details based on the search criteria specified.

The system displays the following in the” Search Result” multiline:

Lease No	The number identifying the lease which is to be renewed.
Lease Type	Indicates the type of lease. It could be “Mall” or “Corporate”.
Lease Category	The category of the lease.
Agreement Date	The date on which the lease agreement was signed by the customer.
Commencement Date	The date of commencement of the lease.
Expiry Date	The expiry date of the lease.
Scheme Code	The scheme number of the lease.
Scheme Name	The name of the scheme.
Customer Code	The code identifying the customer who has taken the property on lease.
Customer Name	The name of the customer.
Total Lease Amount	The total lease amount.

Enter the following in the multiline:

Remarks	Any remarks regarding the extension or renewal of the lease.
Extended Date	The date until which the lease is extended.

Click the “Renew Lease” button to renew the lease.

Note: For every renewal, system increments the renewal no. by 1
