Select the “Maintain Calendar” activity under “Masters”
The “Maintain Calendar” page appears.
To create Calendar details
Enter the following details in the header:

Calendar Code |
A unique code identifying the calendar. (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory |

Calendar Description |
The description of the calendar.(Alphanumeric, 250) |
|
Calendar From |
The date from which the calendar is valid. The validity from date can be earlier than system date or any of the financial periods defined in the application. |

Calendar To |
The date until which the calendar is valid. The validity to date should be later than the validity from date. |
|
Inactivate |
Check the box if you want to inactivate the calendar. |
|
Reason Code |
A unique code that identifies the reason. Click the lens icon to select the reason code from the Help on Codes page. |
The system displays the following:

Reason Desc. |
The description for the reason for the specified reason code. |
There are two tabs displayed namely, Session details and Exception details.
To record the session details:
The Session Details tab is displayed by default.
The following field is displayed:

Session |
The following list of six pre defined sessions is displayed: Session 1 From Session 1 To Session 2 From Session 2 To Session 3 From Session 3 To |
Enter the following details in the “Session details” multiline for each day of the week starting from Monday to Sunday:

Session1From |
The time from which Session 1 is scheduled to start on that particular day. |

Session1To |
The time when Session 1 is scheduled to end on that particular day. |
|
Session2From |
The time from which Session 2 is scheduled to start on that particular day. |
|
Session2To |
The time when Session 2 is scheduled to end on that particular day. |
|
Session3From |
The time from which Session 3 is scheduled to start on that particular day. |
|
Session3To |
The time when Session 3 is scheduled to end on that particular day. |
To record the Exception details:
Click the Exception details tab.
The system saves the exception details and updates the status of the calendar.
Enter the following details in the “Exception Details” multiline.

Exception Name |
The name of exception. |
|
Day Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the day type for the exception. The options displayed are Working or Not Working. |

From Date |
The date from which the exception is valid. |
|
From Time |
The time from which the exception is valid. |
|
To Date |
The date until which the exception is valid. |
|
To Time |
The time until which the exception is valid. |
Click the “Maintain” button to save the calendar details.
The system saves the calendar details and updates the status of the calendar.
The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:

Created By |
The login user ID of the person who created the calendar details. |
|
Created Date |
The date on which the calendar is created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login user ID of the person who last modified the calendar details. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the calendar details was last modified. |
Select the “Attach Notes” link at the bottom of the page to specify notes.
To modify the Calendar details
Select the “Maintain Calendar” activity under the “Masters” business component.
The “Maintain Calendar” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Calendar Code |
The unique code that identifies the calendar. (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory |

Help facility available. |
On selecting the Calendar code, the system fetches and displays the corresponding calendar details in the header and in the tabs. The user can modify the required fields.
Click the “Maintain Calendar” button to save the modified calendar details.
The system saves the modified details against the container size code.
The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:

Created By |
The user ID of the person who created the calendar details. |
|
Created Date |
The date on which the calendar details was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login user ID of the person who last modified the calendar details. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The system date on which the container details was last modified. |
To delete the Calendar details
Select the “Maintain Calendar” activity under the “Masters” business component.
The “Maintain Calendar” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Calendar Code |
The unique code that identifies the calendar. (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory |
|

Help facility available. |
On selecting the Calendar code, the system fetches and displays the corresponding calendar details in the header and in the tabs.
Click the “Delete” button to delete the calendar details.
The system deletes the calendar details once you confirm the deletion.
