Yield enables you to calculate the expected quantity of the primary Product during production. The yield is generally calculated on percentage basis and is computed only for “Primary Product”, which is the output item. Each yield is identified with a unique id and is associated to the formula, Primary Product Item-Variant, Primary Product Item, Primary Product Item Group or Formula Class. This is used for planning as well as to compare the actual value with the standard value based on the consumption and production reported during production of the Primary Product.
You can perform yield definition here and associate the yield directly to Formula in Create Formula activity or associate it to Item-Variant, Item, Item Group or Formula Class in Associate Yield Activity.
Select the “Define Yield” link under the “Formula Model” business component.
The “Define Yield” page appears.
Enter the following:
|
Yield Id |
The code identifying the yield (Alphanumeric, 32). Mandatory. |
|
Description |
The description of the yield (Alphanumeric, 40). |
|
Stored Procedure |
The name of the stored procedure to be used for computation of Yield %. |
Enter the following:
|
Expression |
The expression attached to the yield (Alphanumeric, 255). The expression could be a combination of the following, apart from numbers and other mathematical operators are “Sum (Inputs)”, “Sum (Outputs)”, “Sum (Co-Products)”, “Sum (By-Products)”, “Sum (Recycle)”, “Primary Input” or “Primary Product”. |
Note: A calculator is provided alongside the “Expression” field to enter in data into the expression field.
The system displays the following:
|
Created By |
The name of the user who defined the Yield. |
|
Created Date |
The date on which the Yield was defined. |
|
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the Yield. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the yield was last modified |
Click the “Define ” pushbutton to save the yield definition.
