Using online help

This page allows you to select a formula and transfer the same to the field in which it is required.

You can retrieve the formula details by specifying the search criteria such as formula code, version, description, status, effective from date etc., in the “Value (S)” field. Based on the filter criteria entered the formula details are retrieved.

You can select the formula code from the list displayed. On confirmation, the selected formula code is transferred to the required page.

If the “Type” passed is “Input”, the system will look for those formulae having the Item-variant defined as “Primary Input”, “Input” or “Recycle”. If the item “Type” passed is “Output”, the system will look for those formulae having the Item-variant defined as “Primary Product” or “Co-Product” or “By-Product”.

The “Help for Formula” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a formula.

Field Caption

The system displays Formula, Version, Formula Description, Formula Class, Effective From, Item, Variant, Description texts.

Rel. Operators

Use the drop-down list box to specify the relational operators such as,. “Equal To”, “Between”, “Greater Than”, “Lesser Than” or “Like” for Formula, Version, Formula Description, Formula Class, Effective From, Item, Variant, Description Search Criteria. The system displays the Formula details in multiline based on the operators and values entered in Value(s) columns.

Value (S)

You can enter the Value(s) in full or specify it partially using the operators specified in the “Rel. Operators” field. The system displays the values in the multiline based on the operator selected in the “Rel. Operators” field and the values entered in Value(s) columns.

Value (S)

You can enter a range of Values in both the Value(s) columns to retrieve Formulae in the multiline.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Formula

The code identifying the formula.

Version

The version number of the formula.

Formula Description

The textual description of the formula.

Status

The status of the formula, which could be “Active”, “Inactive” or “Deactive”.

Effective From

The date starting from which the formula is effective.

Item

The code identifying the item used in the formula.

Variant

The code identifying the item variant.

Description

The textual description of the item variant.

Type

The type of the item-variant used in the formula, which could be “Primary Input” or “Primary Product”.
