Maintain Formula Output Attributes
This activity enables you to define the attributes to the output items that are used in the formula. The output items comprise “Primary Product”, ”Co-Product” or ”By-Product” types. You can specify a range of quantitative attributes and standard value for each item. The details of the attribute values are used during the time of material allocation.
Attributes are certain characteristics of an item, which are useful in analyzing the quality of an item. Items are defined in the inventory through different processes in the organization. To keep track of them, each item can be associated with an attribute. Attributes can be classified into two types: “Qualitative” and “Quantitative”. For example, some of the attributes like the color of the oil have qualitative values such as red and black. Items like tyre can have quantitative values such as taper angle, which are measurable within the minimum value of 3 degrees and the maximum value of 5 degrees.
