This activity enables you to set the system parameters for this business component. You can specify the template rule to be used in case you want the system to generate formula codes automatically. You can also enable or disable formula security and specify the default step size.
Select the “Setup Formula Parameters” link under the “Formula Model” business component.
The “Setup Formula Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following:

Generate Formula Code |
Select this option to indicate if the system should automatically generate a code while creating a formula. Leave this field blank, if you wish to define a unique code for each formula while creating. |

Template Rule |
The code identifying the template with a set of rules, which is already defined in “Common Masters” business component (Alphanumeric, 32). The system generated formula code is based on the “Template Rule” assigned. The set of rules could be a combination of formula code, item code, item description and formula description. |

Default Step Size |
The default value settings for the “Step” field, which is used in the multiline of the activities (Integer). This could be serial number or characters. On specifying a “Default Step Size”, system will generate steps by incrementing the highest step, if step is left blank in the Create, Edit or Revise Formula activities. |

Security Enabled |
Select this option, if you wish to enable the formula security |
Click the “Set” pushbutton to store the settings.
The System displays the following:

Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the formula. |

Last Modified Date |
The date on which the formula was last modified |
