View Formula Alternate Quantity Information

This activity enables you to view the formula items’ alternate quantity information. The alternate quantities can be used to specify additional information regarding weight balance or for other MIS purposes. “Alternate Quantity” is used when, alternate units of measurement of an item is required to be measured. By entering alternate quantities and alternate uoms, the system will be able to compute the main quantities of items.

The login user is allowed to view the formula, either when “Security Enabled” option is not checked in the “Setup Formula Parameters” activity, or when “Security Enabled” option is checked in the “Setup Formula Parameters” activity and the user has been given view rights to the formula in the “Formula Management Security” business component Viewing the advanced quantity of the formula

Select the “View Formula Alternate Quantity Information” link under the “Formula Model” business component.

The “View Formula Advanced Qty Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Status	The status of the formula, which could be “Inactive”.
Formula	The code identifying the formula to view the alternate quantity and UOM.
Version	The version number of the formula.
Formula Class	The category to which the formula belongs.
Description	The textual description of the formula.
Effective From	The date starting from which the formula is effective.
Effective To	The date until which the formula is effective.
Instruction	The code identifying the instruction attached to the formula.
Description	The textual description of the instruction.
Remarks	Additional comment pertaining to formula.

The system displays the following:

Item Code	The code identifying the item used in the formula.
Variant	The variant of the item.
IO Type	The item type, which could be “Primary Input” or “Primary Product”.
Description	The textual description of the item.
Quantity	The quantity of the item used in the formula.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item.

The system displays the following:

Alternate Quantity	The alternate quantity of the item used in the formula.
Alternate UOM	The alternate unit of measurement used to measure the item.

The system displays the following in the “Formula Details” multiline:

Serial Number	The serial number of the item corresponding to the item.
IO Type	The item type, which could be one of the following: Primary Input – indicates the input items Primary Product – indicates the output items Co-Product – indicates items that are produced together with the “Primary Product” By-Product – indicates unwanted product, which are produced along with the “Primary Product”. Recycle – indicates secondary output, which can be recycled. Instruction – indicates the instruction id attached to the formula. Instruction Text – indicates additional information on usage of formula
Item/Description	The code identifying the item
Variant	The variant of the item
Item/Instruction Description	The textual description of the instruction
Quantity	The quantity of the item
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item
Alternate Quantity	The percentage of the “Alt Qty” in the header is specified in this field.
Alternate UOM	The alternate unit of measurement used to measure the item.
Percentage	The value entered here is used to calculate the “Alt Qty” on percentage basis.
