Description

The system displays the following details in the multiline:

 Purchase Usage

Indicates whether the source defined for the item or item variant is “Purchased”. The system displays “Yes” if the source is “Purchased”, else it displays “No”.

Sales Usage

Remarks

Indicates the success or failure of controlpoint / inspection plan creation. The system displays the following:

  • “Control Point / Inspection Plan created” – on successful creation.

  • “Inspection plan id cannot be created for the item - variant” – if there is a failure.

Created By

The login name of the user who created the control point / inspection plan.

Created Date

The date when the control point / inspection plan is created.

The system automatically generates the control point id by adding the Item code, variant and origin id. For example, if the item code is “CAKE”, variant is “2” and origin id is “Purchase”, then the control point id generated by the system for this combination would be “CAKE2Purchase”. The description of the item will be set as the control point description.

Similarly, the inspection plan id is generated automatically by adding the item, variant and origin id, and the inspection plan description is set to the description of the item. The system sets the inspection effective date as current date, inspection type as “Normal”, sample size for inspection as 1, inspection basis as “Attribute” and sampling type as “Fixed Size”.

In addition to this, the attributes that are mapped to the inspection plan id will have the mandatory flag set to “No” and return type as “Mean” by default. The system will assign the serial number for each attribute starting from 1.
