Maintain Attribute Analysis Methods

This activity allows you to associate analysis methods with the attributes. An attribute can have multiple analysis methods. You could specify the same attribute multiple times in the inspection plan, each associated with different analysis method.
Select the “Maintain Attribute Analysis Methods” link from the “Quality Management” business component.
The “Maintain Attribute Analysis Methods” page appears.
Enter the following:

Attribute |
The code identifying the attribute to be associated with the analysis method (Alphanumeric, 06). Mandatory. |

Press <Enter> key. |

The system retrieves and displays the attribute and analysis method details. |

The system displays the following:

Description |
The textual description of the attribute. |
|
Attribute Type |
The attribute type, which could be “Qualitative”, “Quantitative” or “Date”. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the attribute, if the attribute type is “Quantitative”. |
Enter the following in the “Analysis Methods” multiline:

Analysis Method |
The code identifying the analysis method mapped to the attribute (Alphanumeric, 32). Mandatory. |

Description |
The textual description of the analysis method (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Standard Operating Procedure ID |
The code identifying the SOP, which is attached with the analysis method (Alphanumeric, 32). |
The system displays the following:

Created By |
The name of the user who initiated the analysis method and attribute mapping. |

Created Date |
The date on which the analysis method and attribute mapping was created. |

Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the attribute and analysis method mapping. |

Modified Date |
The date on which the analysis method and attribute mapping was last modified. |
Click the “Maintain ” pushbutton to associate the analysis method with the attributes.
Mandatory
The attributes should have been defined in the “Attribute Definition” business component.
The analysis method should exist in the “Maintain Analysis Method for Attributes” activity.
Optional
The SOP ids should exist in the “Create Standard Operating Procedures” activity.
