Cost Center Details
This tab allows you to maintain the cost center details. The cost center details such as cost center, short description, long description, effective from, expiry date, responsibility, etc., are captured.
Select the Cost Center Details tab.
The Cost Center Details tab appears.
Enter the following details in the "Cost Center Details" multiline:

Cost Center Type |
Use the drop-down list box, to specify the category of the cost center. The options are “Materials” and “Resources”. The system displays “Material” by default on launch of the page. Additional Cost center types can be defined in Maintain Codes screen. |

Cost Center |
The name of the cost center. (Alphanumeric, 10). |

Help facility available. |
The system displays the following details in the "Cost Center Details" multiline:

Short Desc. |
The short descriptive information of the cost center entered. |
|
Long Desc. |
The long descriptive information of the cost center entered. |
|
Effective From |
The date from which the cost center is effective. |
|
Expiry Date |
The date on which the cost center expires. |
|
Responsibility |
The name of the person who is responsible for the cost center. |
|
Detail/Group |
The detail / group of the cost center. |
Enter the following details in the "Cost Center Details" multiline:

Default |
Use the drop-down list box to choose whether the particular record to be defaulted or not. The values Yes and No get populated. |
Click the "Maintain" pushbutton to save the entered details.
