Bulk Project Approval
Select the “Bulk Project Approval” link under the “Project Definition” business component.
The “Bulk Project Approval” page appears.
Select the following from the header:

Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to select the mode. The combo is loaded with “Project Budget” and “Task Mapping”. The system displays “Project Budget” by default on launch of the page. |
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Project Code From |
The code from which you want to retrieve the project details. |
|
Project Code To |
The code until which you want to retrieve the project details. |
|
Project Name |
The name of the project. |
|
Org. Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit. The combo is loaded with the list of OUs in which the Project Definition component is deployed. |
|
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book of the project. |
|
Financial Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial year of the project. |
|
From Cost Center |
The cost center from which you want to retrieve the project details. |
|
To Cost Center |
The cost center until which you want to retrieve the project details. |
|
From Account Code |
The account code from which you want to retrieve the project details. |
|
To Account Code |
The account code until which you want to retrieve the project details. |
Note: From Cost Center, To Cost Center, From Account Code and To Account Code fields are visible when the Mode is selected as “Project Budget”.
Select the following from the “Search Criteria” group box:

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the project status. The combo is loaded with “Approved” when the mode is “Project Budget”. The combo is loaded with “Fresh”, “Under Revision” and “Approved” when the mode is selected as “Task Mapping”. The system displays “Approved” by default on launch of the page. |

Detailing Required |
Use the drop-down list box to select “Yes” if project detailing is required else, select “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page. |

Project Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the project type. The combo is loaded with “Non-Billable” and “Billable”. The system displays “Non-Billable” by default on launch of the page. |

Project Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the project category. The combo is loaded with “Small”, “Medium” and “Small”. The system displays “Small” by default on launch of the page. |
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Customer Code |
A unique code identifying the customer for which you wish to search and retrieve the details. |
|
Parent Project Code |
A unique code identifying the parent project for which you wish to search and retrieve the details. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Note: When the mode is “Task Mapping”, the system retrieves all the projects, which has task in “Fresh”/Approved / “Under Revision” status.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline.

Org. Unit |
The organization unit in which the Project is created. |
|
Project Code |
The unique code identifying the project. |
|
Account Code |
A unique code that identifies the account. |
|
Cost Center |
The code identifying the cost center to which the project is mapped. |
|
Finance Book |
The finance book of the project. |
|
Financial Year |
The financial year of the project. |
Note: Account Code, Cost Center and Finance Book fields are visible when the Mode is selected as “Project Budget”.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline.

Est. Start Date |
The estimated date on which the project is planned to start. |
|
Est. End Date |
The estimated date on which the project is planned to complete. |
|
Project Status |
Indicates the project status. |
|
Detailing Required |
‘Yes’ indicates project detailing is required, and “No” indicates detailing is not required. |
|
Project Type |
Indicates the project type. The project type can be “Billable” or “Non Billable”. |
|
Project Category |
Indicates the project category. The project category can be “Big”, or “Medium” or “Small”. |
|
Customer Code |
A unique code identifying the customer. |
|
Parent Project Code |
A unique code identifying the parent project. |
Click the "Approve" pushbutton to approve the budget details.
Note: when Mode – Project Budget, projects in “Fresh” / "Under Revision" status can be approved.
When Mode – Task Mapping, Projects with Fresh/Under Revision Tasks can be approved.
Click the “Revise” pushbutton to revise the budget details
Note: The approved task can be amended. Revision history is maintained for the amended task.
Click the “Return” pushbutton to return the budget details.
Note: Tasks in “Fresh” / “Under Revision” status can be returned.
The pushbuttons “Revise” and “Return” are visible when the Mode is selected as “Task Mapping”.
