Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This page allows you to manage the reference document details of a project/sub project. On entering the project code, the system retrieves the details such as Document No., Revision No., Doc. Status and Doc Type. You can search for a document type and map/unmap sale orders for the project at line level.

The “Specify Reference Documents” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the header.

Document No

The unique number identifying the document. This could be either Project or a Proposal.

Revision No.

The unique number identifying the document amendments.

Doc. Status

The status of the document.

Doc Type

The category of the document. This could be either Project or a Proposal.

Status

The status of the project / sub project or the Proposal. The status of the project can be “Shortclosed”, “Closed”, ”Deleted”, ”Approved”, ”Draft” and “Fresh” Likewise, status of a proposal can be Draft, fresh , deleted, Confirmed.

Ref. SO No.

The reference sale order which is being mapped to the Project / proposal.

The system displays the following details in the "Reference Documents" multiline:

Ref SO Date

The reference sale order date of the document.

SO Line No.

The unique line number identifying the line details for a given sale order.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following details in the "Reference Documents" multiline:

item code

The unique code identifying the item in sale order.

Variant Code

The unique code identifying the variant of the item.

Doc. Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the document type. The options are “ALL”, “PO”, “PR”, “SCO”, “Inventory Issue”, “Inventory Return”, “Production Issue”, “Subcontract Issue”, “Unplanned Issue”, “Production Receipt”, “Unplanned Receipt”, “Production Return”, “Subcontract Return”, “Packslip”, “Service Order”, “Stock Adjustments”, “Work Order (DP)”, “Stock Transfer Order”, “Stock Transfer Receipt”, “Sales Return” and “Stock Transfer Note”. The system displays “ALL” by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following details in the “View Reference Documents” multiline:

Doc. Type

The category of the document.

Doc. No.

The unique number identifying the document.

Doc. Date

The date of the reference document.

Ref. Doc. Type

The reference document category

Ref. Doc. No.

The unique number identifying the reference document.

Planned Qty.

The projects planned quantity for a particular item.

Completed Qty.

The projects completed quantity for a particular item.

Completed Qty = (Accepted Qty + Rejected Qty + Scrap Qty)

Item Code

A unique code identifying the item.

Variant Code

The item variant.

Control Unit

A unique code identifying the control unit. Control unit is a responsibility center in production.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the item.

WBS ID.

A unique code identifying the work break down structure of the item.

Warehouse

A unique code identifying the warehouse where the items are stored.

Note: The Planned Qty, Completed Qty, Item Code, Variant Code, Control Unit, UOM, WBS ID and Warehouse fields are visible only when the Doc. Type is selected as “Work Order (DP)”.

The system maps the authorized sale order with the project.

Note: When the sale order is associated with packslip or service order, you cannot map or un-map the sale order to a project.

To proceed, carry out the following:

The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the person who created the reference document details.

Created Date

The date and time on which the reference document details was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the person who modified the reference document details.

Last Modified Date

The date and time on which the reference document details was modified last.
