Task Mapping

This tab allows you to map the task details with the project. You can specify the details such as the task code, work area, summary task, subcontracted and map it to the particular project. These task details once saved get populated in the "Resource Requirements" tab.
Select the Task Mapping tab.
Enter the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:

WBS Id. |
The unique Id. identifying the Work Breakdown Structure. |
The system displays the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:

Task Id. |
The unique id identifying the task. |
Enter the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:
|
Task Code |
The unique code identifying the task. On press of the Enter key the system retrieves the task group, output quantity, output UOM, effort, time UOM from the "Maintain Task" and displays it. |

Help facility available. |
The system displays the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:
|
Complementary Task |
Indicates whether the task entered is a complementary task or not.. The options can be “Yes” or “No”. |
|
Parent Task |
A unique code identifying the parent task. |
|
Task Group |
The group to which the tasks belong to. |
Enter the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:

WorkArea |
The name of the work area to which the task belongs to. |

Help facility available. |

Summary Task |
Use the drop-down list box to select the summary task. The values "Yes" and "No" get populated. The system displays the value "No" on launch of the page. Note: If a task is created with summary activity as "Yes" then resource details should not be entered. |

Internal Milestone |
Check the box to mark the WBS ID as an internal milestone of the task. |
|
Parent WBS ID |
The WBS Id which this task shall act as the child task. |
|
Subcontracted |
Use the drop-down list box to select whether the task is subcontracted or not. The values "No" and "Yes" get populated. The system displays the value "No" as default on launch of the page. |
|
Quantity |
The total quantity required for the task. |
The system displays the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:

UOM |
The UOM of the task. |
|
Internal Task Cost |
The internal cost of the task. |
|
Task Cost |
The total cost for execution of the task after considering all overheads. |
|
Task Prop. Value |
The value of the task as mentioned in the Proposal. |
|
Effort |
The effort required for the task. |
Note: Internal Task Cost, Task Cost and Task Prop. Value fields are visible when the login user is granted with “Proposal With Cost” access.

Cumulative Effort |
The cumulative effort of the task. |
The system displays the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:

Time UOM |
The time UOM of the task. |

Task Output Qty. |
The total task output quantity. |
|
Task Output UOM |
The UOM of the task output. |
Enter the following details in the "Task Mapping" multiline:

Planned Start Date |
The anticipated start date of the task. |
|
Planned Start Time |
The anticipated start time of the task |
|
Planned End Date |
The anticipated end date of the task. |
|
Planned End Time |
The anticipated end time of the task. |
|
Task Description |
The detailed description of the task. (Display Only). |
|
Task Sub Group |
The sub group of the task. (Display Only). |
|
Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the task. |
Click the "Save" pushbutton to save the entered details.
