Task Mapping - A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to map the project and task details. Task details such as task code, work area, etc., can be mapped and saved. Resource details such as resource code, resource type, usage, UOM can be maintained against the task group, task and work area. You can also view the material requirement and resource requirements according to a particular project. You can launch the project requirement specifications page from here.
In task summary detail page you can enter the project or subproject details and can view the "Project Level Summary", "Map To WBS Line Item" and "Generate SCO details. The annexure details of the generated SCO can be printed. In task bill of quantity page you can enter the project or subproject details and can view the material and resource requirement details.
You can map the same task code more than once to a work area in a project plan for a project as long as different WBS IDs are used. Materials for executing a task can now be given at the work area level. Materials mapped to a task will be defaulted from Task master / Project requirements specifications. You can change the material quantities at the work area level. You can add materials / change existing materials for a task - work area combination.
