Modify Subcontract Documents
Through this activity, you can modify the subcontract request / order for a project directly. You can modify the rates and specify the budget details. You can also short close the document.
Select the “Modify Subcontract Documents” from the bottom of the page.
The “Modify Subcontract Documents” page appears.
The system displays the following details in the “Project Details” group box.
Project Code |
A unique code identifying the project. |
Project Name |
The name of the project. |
Project Status |
Indicates the project status. |
The system displays the following details in the “Document Details” group box.
Doc. Type |
Indicates the document type selected from the previous page. .It can be Subcontract Order or Subcontract Request. |
Doc. No |
A unique number identifying the document. |
Status |
Indicates the document status. |
Doc. Date |
The date on which the subcontract request / order document was created. |
Amendment No. |
A unique number identifying the document amendment |
Select the following from the “Document Details” group box:
Folder |
Use the drop-down list box to select the folder. The combo is loaded with “Desirable”, “Essential” and “Vital”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
The system displays the following details in the “Document Details” group box.
Supplier Code |
A unique code identifying the supplier. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier. |
Basic Value |
The basic value of the request / order document. |
Select the following from the “Document Details” group box:
Receipt At |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit in which the items of the subcontract request / order has to be received. The combo is loaded with the OUs based on the component interaction between SCO and GR. The system displays the “Login OU” by default on launch of the page. |
The system displays the following details in the “Document Details” group box.
Currency |
The currency used in the request/order document. |
Type |
The document type. The document type can be “General” or “Dropship”. |
Accounting Unit |
The finance book applicable for documents. |
Select the following from the “Document Details” group box:
AC Usage |
The combo is loaded with the accounting usages mapped to the Transaction – Subcontract Request and Transaction Type – SCR. |
CC Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to select the costing usage. |
Enter the following from the “Document Details” group box:
Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the modification of subcontract request / order. |
Reason Code |
A unique code identifying the reason for modifying the subcontract request / order document. Mandatory for Shortclosure of the document. |
The system displays the following details in the “Document Details” group box.
Reason Description |
The detailed description of the reason. |
Enter the following details:
Budget ID |
A unique code identifying the budget. |
Enter the following details in the multiline:
WBS ID |
A unique code identifying the work breakdown structure of the project. |
The system displays the following details in the multiline.
Task Code |
A unique code identifying the task. |
Task Description |
The detailed description of the task. |
Ordered Quantity |
The number of quantity ordered. |
Enter the following details in the multiline:
Modified Quantity |
The number of quantity modified. |
Item Code |
A unique code identifying the item. |
The system displays the following details in the multiline.
Line No |
A unique number identifying the item line. |
Item Code |
A unique code identifying the item. |
Quantity |
Indicates the item quantity. |
Usage UOM |
The unit of measurement of the task. |
Enter the following details in the multiline:
Rate |
The item rate. |
Need Date |
The date on which the item is required. |
Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the item. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the details.
Click the “Modify Rate” pushbutton to modify the rate.
Note: This “Modify Rate” pushbutton is visible only when the “Doc Type” combo is selected as “Order” in Modify Subcontract Documents hyperlink.
Click the “Short Close” pushbutton.
The system updates the SCR / SCO status as short closed and increases the Balance Task Quantity.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton.
The system updates the SCR /SCO status as “Deleted and increases the Balance Task Quantity.
Note: Only “Draft” and “Fresh” status of the document can be deleted.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Attach Notes” link at the bottom of the page to attach the notes details for the project.
Select the “Specify Checklist” link at the bottom of the page to specify the checklist details for the project.
Select the “Issue List” link at the bottom of the page to specify the issues in the project.
Select the “Receipt List” link at the bottom of the page to view the receipt details.
Select the “Approve Subcontract Request” link at the bottom of the page to approve the subcontract request.
Select the “View Subcontract Request” link at the bottom of the page to view the subcontract request details.
Note: The below hyperlinks are visible when the Doc Type combo is selected as “Order” in the Modify Subcontract Documents hyperlink.
Select the “Specify TCD” link at the bottom of the page to specify tax, charges and discount details.
Select the “Tax Calculation - Summary” link at the bottom of the page to view the tax calculation summary.
Select the “Retention Details” link at the bottom of the page to view the retention details.
Select the “Amend Subcontract Order” link at the bottom of the page to amend the subcontract order.
Select the “View Subcontract Order” link at the bottom of the page to view the subcontract order.
Select the “Specify Terms Conditions” link at the bottom of the page to specify the terms and conditions details.
Select the “Approve Subcontract Order” link at the bottom of the page to approve the subcontract order.
