Specify Co-Efficient

This activity allows you to specify the co-efficient for the specified basis or project. You can specify the co-efficient details as Wastages, Floor overhead and Task over head for Task, Material and Resource basis. You can specify the wastage/overhead in value and percentage for the specified item. You can also apply on the various level as Basis, Work Group, Task Group & at Task level.

Select the “Specify Co-Efficient” hyperlink from the Task Base Rate activity.

The “Specify Co-Efficient” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the header.

Basis / Project Code	A unique code identifying the basis / project
Basis / Project Description	The description of basis / project.
Status	The status of the basis.
Amendment No.	The unique amendment number for the task basis.

Select the following:

Applied At (Level)

Use the drop-down list box to select the level at which the co-efficient value has to be applied. The combo is loaded with “Basis”, “Project”, “Task”, “Task Group” and “Work Group”

Note: The combo value “Project” is visible when Specify Co-Efficient page is launched from “Maintain Project /Sub Project” activity of Project Definition Component.

Similarly, the combo value “Basis” is visible when this page is launched from “Task Base Rate” activity of Masters Component.

Select the following:

Applied On	Use the drop-down list box to select the applied on. The combo is loaded with "Task", "Material", and "Resource".
Overhead Basis	Use the drop-down list box to select the combo loaded with "%" and "Value".

Enter the following details in the “Default Section” group box:

Wastage Value / %	The percentage or value for the material or resource wastage.
Floor Over Head	The floor over head value for the material or resource.
Task Over Head	The over head value of the task.

Click the “Default” pushbutton.

The system displays the following details in the multiline.

Code	A unique code displaying the respective code as per the value chosen in Applied At (level) combo.
Item / Resource Code	A unique code identifying the Material or Resource. The column will display the Item code or resource code when Applied At (level) combo is chosen as Task and Applied On combo is chosen as Material or Resource respectively

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Wastage %	The percentage value for the material or resource wastage.
Floor Over Head	The floor over head value for the material or resource.
Task Over Head	The over head value of the task.

Click the “Save” pushbutton.

The system saves the co-efficient details for the specified basis or project.
