Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

Using Online Help

A view utilization details offers the ability to view the utilization of the project. The status and total amount allocated for the project is displayed based on the selection of the project code. You can view the project utilization details from the starting and ending range of period by the selection of specific year. You can also view the utilization details based on the selection of purpose.

The “View Utilization details” page appears.

      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Project Code

The unique code that identifies the project. On press of the “Enter” key the system retrieves the project details according to the project code entered here.

Project Name

The name of the project.

Status

The status of the project.

Revision No.

The unique number that identifying the revision number. Use the drop-down list box list box to select the existing revision number.

Purpose

Use the drop-down list box to select the purpose of the project. The combo is loaded with the values “Execution”, “Purchase” and “Revenue”.

Total Amount

The total amount allocated for the project.

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book of the project.

Year

Use the drop-down list box to select the year that you wish to retrieve the project details.

Period From

The starting month of the period from which you wish to retrieve the details.

Period To

The ending month of the period till which you wish to retrieve the details.

Detail            

Select the check box if you wish to view the detailed utilization.

The system displays the following details in the multiline if the purpose is selected as “Purchase”

Purpose                     

The purpose of the project.

Finance Book

The finance book of the project.

Period

The period of time allocated for the project.

Item Group Code

The unique code that identifies the item group.

Item Group Description

The description of the item group.

Budgeted Amount

The budget amount which has been allocated against the item group.

Planned Value

The planned value of the item group based on the purchase order and purchase request.

Utilized Value

The utilized value of the item group based on the goods receipt created against the purchase order.

Balance Value

The balance value against the item group. Balance Value = Budgeted Amount – Planned Value – Utilized Value.

Proposed Value

The proposed value of the project based on the proposal line number.

On selection of the “Detail” check box, the system displays the following details in the multiline:

Purpose                     

The purpose of the project.

Finance Book

The finance book of the project.

Code

The unique code that identifies the work group.

Description

The description of the work group.

Tran. No

The number that has been created against the purchase order of the item.

Tran. Date

The date on which the transaction number is created.

Tran. Status

The status of the transaction.

Basic Value

The basic value of the item. Basic value = Quantity * Rate.

TCD Amount

The tax amount calculated for the basic value.

Total Value

The total value of the purchase order. Total Value = Basic Value + TCD Amount.

The system displays the following details in the multiline if the purpose is selected as “Execution”

The finance book of the project.

Period

The period of time allocated for the project.

Level1

The code that identifies the task group.

Level1 Desc

The description of the task group.

Level2

The code that identifies the sub group.

Level2 Description

The description of the sub group.

Budgeted Amount

The budget amount which has been allocated against the task group and sub group.

Planned Value

The value based on the authorized SCO against the task group and sub group.

Utilized Value

The value based on the goods receipt against the SCO or task group and sub group.

Balance Value

The balance value against the task group and sub group. Balance Value = Budgeted Amount – Planned Value – Utilized Value.

Proposed Value

The proposed value of the project based the proposal line number.

On selection of the “Detail” check box, the system displays the following details in the multiline:

The purpose of the project.

The finance book of the project.

Code

The unique code that identifies the work group.

Description

The description of the work group.

Tran. No

The number that has been created based on the execution purpose.

Tran. Date

The date at which the transaction number is created.

Tran. Status

The status of the transaction.

Basic Value

The basic value of the task group and sub group. Basic value = Quantity * Rate.

TCD Amount

The tax amount calculated for the basic value.

Total Value

The total value of the purchase order. Total Value = Basic Value + TCD Amount.
