This page allows you to specify the promotional items of the suppliers. These are the free items given along with the main items. Main items are the items that are indicated in each of the quotation lines. This page allows you to specify these items along with their corresponding details. In this page, Advance details, Insurance details, Inco details, packing and shipping details, and tolerance details are also displayed.
Select the “Promotional Items” link at the bottom of the “Create Quotation” page.
The “Specify Promotional Item Details” page appears.
The system displays the status of the quotation.
The system displays the following fields:

Quotation No. |
The unique number identifying the Quotation for which the promotional item details. |

Supplier Code |
Code or identification number of the supplier. |
|
Name |
Name associated with the supplier code mentioned. |
Enter the following field in the “Item Details” group box:

Line No. |
Use the drop down list box to select the line number of the quotation for which the quality attributes are specified. |
The system displays the following:

Item Code |
Code or identification number of the item specified in that particular line number. |

Variant Code |
Name or identifier associated with the item. |

Desc. |
Description stating the nature of the item. |

Qty. |
The Quantity specified for scheduling. |
|
UOM |
The Unit of Measure in which the items are measured. |
Enter the following in the “Promotional Item Details” information tab:

Item Code |
The code or identification number assigned for a tax, charge, and discount. |

Variant |
Name or identifier of the variant that is associated with an item. (Alphanumeric, 20). |

Description |
Description stating the nature of the item. Mandatory. |

Quantity |
The Quantity specified for scheduling. Mandatory. |

UOM |
The Unit of Measure in which the items are measured. Mandatory. |

Estimated Cost |
The standard cost of the item based on internal estimation. Mandatory. |

Adhoc Item Class |
Use the drop down list to select the adhoc item’s class. |

Remarks |
Comments regarding the promotional items can be given. |
Click the “Save Details” pushbutton.
The system displays a success message.
The promotional item details will be mapped to the Items present in the quotation.
