Report on Cash Flow Statement
In India as per the Accounting Standard III, issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, it is mandatory for companies to present a cash flow statement as part of their financial report when their shares are listed or if their turnover exceeds 50 Crores. In Ramco Enterprise Series, Cash Flow Statement is part of “View Default Financial Statement” activity in Finance Book Processing component. That activity is disabled for a company with Base Currency as Indian Rupees to whom financial statements as per “Schedule VI” of Indian Companies Act are enabled.
Report on Cash Flow Statement is applicable only for a Company with Base Currency as Indian Rupees. This activity is used to print the report of Cash Flow Statement.
Select the “Report On Cash Flow Statement” link under “Reports – Book Keeping”.
The “Report on Cash Flow Statement” page appears.
Select/Enter the following in the “Print Criteria” group box:

Book Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of finance book for which you want to print the Cash Flow Statement. All types of finance books that have been deployed in the login organization unit will be available for selection in the alphabetical order. You can select from “Consolidation Finance Book”, “Main Finance Book” or “Posting Finance Book”. |

Report Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select the method for which you want to Print the Cash Flow Statement. You can select from ‘Direct’ or ‘Indirect’. |

Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book for which you want to print the Cash Flow Statement. All the finance books for the selected business unit and the type of finance book will be available for selection in the alphabetical order. |

Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the currency in which you want to print the Cash Flow Statement. You can select from “Base Currency”, “Parallel Base Currency” and the “Account Currency”. The system displays “Base Currency” by default on launch of the page. |

Layout No |
A unique number identifying the layout of the Cash Flow Statement (Integer). The layout number must have already been defined in the “Financial Statement Layout” business component for the Cash Flow Statement. Help facility available. |

As on Date |
The date on which you want to print the Cash Flow Statement (Date Format). The date entered in this field must be before the system date. The system date is displayed by default on launch of the page. |

Comparison Date |
The date for which you want to compare the Cash Flow Statement details (Date Format). The date entered in this field must be before the date entered in the “As on Date” field. |
Click on the “Print Cash Flow Statement” pushbutton to print the Report.
Click the "Print Layout Based Cash Flow Statement" pushbutton to print the Layout Based Reports of the Cash Flow Statement.
The system retrieves and displays the Cash Flow details under different headings in the selected layout no for a selected date for the selected finance book.
If the Finance Book is selected as Consolidated, the balances for the account codes included in the given layout of all the finance Books loaded in the finance book combo would be consolidated and displayed in the report. Similarly results are displayed for comparison date.
Note: If the PPS parameter "Allow Usage of Layout No. Across finance Book is set to Yes" then for the given layout no. though the layout no does not belong to the selected Finance Book, the balances for those account codes included in the given layout pertaining to selected Finance Book would be displayed in the report.
