This Supplier Statement report details the transaction between the supplier and the company for a defined time period. Tell me more
Select the “Supplier Statement” link under the “Reports – Payables Management” business component.
The “Supplier Statement” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Company Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company for which you want to view the supplier statement. All the companies that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book for which you want to view the supplier ageing report. All the finance books that have been deployed in the company will be available for selection. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Supplier Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select the supplier group for which you want to view the supplier statement. All the supplier group codes that have been defined for the selected group type will be available for selection. The system displays "All" by default on the launch of the page. |
Supplier Code From |
The starting code in the range of codes identifying the suppliers for whom you want to view the statement report (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Supplier Code To |
The ending code in the range of codes identifying the suppliers for whom you want to view the statement report (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Report Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of report that you want to print. You can select from “Summary” for a summary of the report or you can select “Detail” for a detailed report. The system displays “Detail” by default on the launch of the page. |
Currency Option |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of currency in which you want to view the supplier statement report. You can select from “Base”, “Transaction” or “Parallel Base”. |
As On Date |
The date on which you want to view the supplier statement report (Date Format). |
Note: If As on Date is earlier than the system date, then the check box ‘Include Post Dated Payments’ cannot be checked.
If the As on Date is earlier than the system date and the check box ‘Include Post Dated Payments’ is not checked , then all the post dated transactions with pay date as equal to or earlier than the As on Date will alone be considered for the report.. The Post Dated documents with pay date greater than the As On Date will not be considered.
Language |
Use the drop-down list box top select the language in which you want to view the supplier statement. You can select “English”. |
Include Post Dated Receipts/ Payments |
Check the box to include the Post Dated Transactions |
Note: When the ‘Include Post dated Payments’ Check box is checked, all the Post Dated Transactions with the pay date greater than the ‘As on Date’ will be considered for the report..
When the ‘Include Post Dated Payments’ check box is not checked then post dated documents with pay date as equal to or earlier than the As on date’, whether processed or unprocessed would be treated as normal payment transactions and not as post dated transactions. Post Dated Transactions with Pay Date greater than the ‘As on Date’ will not be considered in the report.
Include Prepayment |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you want to include the Prepayment account details in the Supplier Statement report. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on the launch of the page. |
Include Deposits |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you want to include the deposit account details in the Supplier Statement report. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on the launch of the page. |
Include Fully Adjustment Documents |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether to include fully adjustment documents in supplier statement report or not. The combo is loaded with options “Yes” and “No”. |
Include Account Code |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether to include account code in supplier statement report or not. The combo is loaded with options “Yes” and “No”. |
Click the “View Supplier Statement” pushbutton to view the supplier statement report.
The system retrieves the supplier statement report based on the search criteria entered. This report can be printed.
Supplier Statement – An overview
This report is usually sent to the supplier on his request at periodic time intervals. This report can be printed in a summary and a detailed format for an As On Date. The summarized report classifies the transactions under opening balance, billing, payment and advance, closing balance, unadjusted prepayment invoices and supplier deposit amounts. The detailed report displays all the individual transactions date-wise. Details like transaction type, date, currency, amount, etc are also displayed. If certain transactions which were created as Post dated and are Overdue and Unprocessed are considered in the report then remarks for the same will also be displayed in the report.
You can search by selecting the company for which you want to view the supplier statement report. You can also search by specifying a range of groups and codes identifying the suppliers for whom you want to view the supplier statement report. You can also select the currency option in which you want to view the supplier statement report. The language and the report type for which you want to view the report can also be selected. You can also select the option to include the post dated checks issued to the supplier. The system retrieves the statement report based on the search criteria entered.
