This page allows you to carry out a search and generate a balance ageing analysis report. Tell me more

The “Customer Balance Ageing Analysis” page appears.

Company Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company for which you want to view the analysis of the ageing of customer balances. All the companies that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection.

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book or which you want to view the analysis of the ageing of customer balances.

Customer Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the customer group for which you want to view the balance ageing analysis.

Customer Code From

The starting code in the range of customer codes for whom you want to view the balance ageing analysis (Alphanumeric, 18).

The ending code in the range of customer codes for whom you want to view the balance ageing analysis (Alphanumeric, 18).

Currency Option

Use the drop-down list box to select whether you want to view the ageing analysis report in the transaction currency, base currency or Parallel Base Currency of the company. You can select from “Base” , "Parallel Base" and “Transaction”. The system displays “Transaction” by default on launch of the page.

As on Date

The date on which you want to view the balance ageing analysis report (Date Format). Mandatory. The system date is displayed by default on launch of the page.

Bucket No. From

 Use the drop-down list box to select the credit bucket to which the balance belongs. You can select from “1” to “8”. The system displays “1” by default on launch of the page.

Note: The credit bucked number selected in this field must be before the number selected in the “To” field.

To

 Use the drop-down list box to select the credit bucket to which the balance belongs. You can select from “1” to “9”. The system displays “8” by default on launch of the page.

Report Option

Use The drop down list box to select the option fo which you want to view the report. You can select from "Transaction Date" and " Credit Management".

Include Post Dated Receipts  / Payments

Check the box to include the Post Dated Transactions

Note: When the ‘Include Post dated Receipts' check box is checked, all the Post Dated Transactions with the instrument date greater than ‘As on Date’ will be considered for the report.

When the ‘Include Post Dated Receipts' check box is not checked then post dated documents with instrument date as equal to or earlier than the As on date’, whether processed or unprocessed would be treated as normal payment transactions and not as post dated transactions. Post Dated Transactions with instrument Date greater than the ‘As on Date’ will not be considered in the report.

Include Deposits

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you want to include the deposit account details in the supplier ageing report. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on the launch of the page.

Detailed Report

Check this check box to extract the balances for the buckets along with transaction details

Display Sales Person Wise

Use the drop down list box to select whether the report to be launched with sales person wise or not.

Sales Person Code From

The starting range of the Sales Person from which the report to be launched

Sales Person Code To

The Ending range of the Sales Person untill which the report to be launched.

Note: The controls “Sales Person Code From and To” are visible only when the "Display Sales Person Wise" is selected as "Yes".

Bucket Range

A unique code identifying the bucket range to which the Customer ageing belongs

Days From

The starting day in the range of days from which you want to view the supplier ageing report (Date Format). The day entered in this field must be before the day entered in the “To” field.

Days To

The ending day in the range of days until which you want to view the supplier ageing report (Date Format). The day entered in this field must be greater than the day entered in the “From” field

Customer Balance Ageing Analysis – An overview

Component Overview

The balance of a customer increases whenever a credit sale is made. This balance is regularly tracked and recovered from the customer. If a customer does not settle his balances periodically, an aging tool would help in segregating the balances to speed up the recovery. An ageing analysis allows you to generate a report on the number of days the balance has aged for the customer. You can view this report for a type of customer group and customers in a business unit. You can view the report in the base currency of the company, the parallel base currency of the company or in both the base and parallel base currency of the company.

You can carry out a search by specifying a range of customer codes for which you want to retrieve the ageing analysis. You can generate the report for a business unit on a particular date. You can also select the currency in which you want to view the report. You can also view the credit bucket in which the payment would fall.
