Resource Availability
Select the “Resource Availability” activity under the “Resource Management” business component.
The “Resource Availability” page appears.

Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
This page consists of the following tabs:
v Vehicle
v Driver
v Handler
v Agency
v Schedule
The tab shows you a summary of available vehicles and allows you to view the profiles that have been generated for vehicle selection. It also allows you to create a new profile for a resource type - Vehicle.
The system displays the following details in the “Summary” multiline:
Ownership |
The ownership of the vehicle. |
Vehicle Type |
The type of vehicle This is fetched from Vehicle masters. |
No. of Vehicles Available |
The number of vehicles available for movement or shipment. |
No. of Vehicles Not Available |
The number of vehicles not available for movement or shipment. |
To modify or view an existing vehicle profile details
Enter the following details in the “Search” group box of right hand side:
Profile ID |
A unique ID identifying the vehicle profile. This field can be a combination of alphabets and numbers, and cannot be left blank. |
Profile Name |
The name of the profile. |
Division |
The division mapped to the profile. |
Location |
The location mapped to the profile. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the profile. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on the launch of the page. |
Click “Search” button to retrieve the search results in the multiline
The system displays the following details in the multiline:
Profile |
A unique ID identifying the vehicle profile. |
Description |
The description of the profile. |
Status |
The status of the profile. |
Division |
The division mapped to the profile. |
Location |
The location mapped to the profile. |
Note: At least one row should be selected in the multiline.
Click “Save” button to save the existing vehicle profile details.

The number of equipment available for movement or shipment. |

You can view the profiles that have been generated for recurring trip plan. It also allows you to create a new profile for the resource type - recurring trip plan.
The system displays the following details in the “Summary” multiline:

The unique code identifying the recurring trip plan. |
No. of Customers |
The number of customers available for trip plan. |
To modify or view an existing recurring trip plan profile details
Enter the following details in the “Search” group box of right hand side:
Profile ID |
A unique ID identifying the recurring trip plan profile. This field can be a combination of alphabets and numbers, and cannot be left blank. |
Profile Name |
The name of the profile. |
Division |
The division mapped to the profile. |
Location |
The location mapped to the profile. |
Status |

The system displays the following details in the “Summary” multiline:

The owner type of the driver. |
Driver Grade |
The grade to which the driver belongs. This is fetched from employee masters against the driver (employee code) |
No. of Drivers Available |
The number of drivers available for operating the equipment or vehicle. |
To modify or view an existing driver profile details

To modify or view an existing agent profile details
Enter the following details in the “Search” group box of right hand side:
Profile ID |
A unique ID identifying the agent profile. This field can be a combination of alphabets and numbers, and cannot be left blank. |

The name of the profile. |

The division mapped to the profile. |

The port at which the operator is expected to complete the journey. |

The number of contracted operators available for movement or shipment. |
