Specify Quality Attributes

This page allows you specify the quality attributes for the line items in the Subcontract Order (SCO). Tell me more

Select the “Specify Quality Attributes” link at the bottom of the “Create Direct Subcontract Order” page

The “Specify Quality Attributes” appears on the screen

The system displays the status of the SCO

The system displays the following details in the header

Status	The status of the SCO
SCO NO	A unique code identifying the SCO
Amendment NO.	A unique code identifying the amendment done to the SCO.
Competitive Bidding	Displays whether the SCO support Competitive Bidding
Supplier Code	The code identifying the supplier
Name	The name of the supplier
	Zoom facility available
Type	The type of the SCO. This can be Service, Activity and Conversion Use the drop-down list box to select the type of SCO

Enter the following fields in the “Item Details” group box

SCO Line No.

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the item in the SCO document. The lowest of all the SCO line numbers is set as the default value

The system displays the following in the “Item Details” group box

Item Code	The unique code identifying the line item in the SCO
Variant Code	The variant of the item
Desc.	The textual description of the item
	Zoom facility available
Qty.	The quantity of items requested from the supplier
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item

Enter the following fields in the “Item Details” group box

Quality Attribute	Use the drop-down list box to select the quality attribute pertaining to the line item.
	None – Indicates no quality attribute are attached to the line item
	Item – The quality attribute available in the item master is defaulted for the matching item – variant combination of the line item
	Supplier-Item – Indicates that the quality attribute attached to the item-variant combination for the supplier code is applicable to the item-variant combination available in the line item
	Reference document - Indicates that the quality attribute mapped to the item-variant combination from the reference document is applicable to the line item
Remarks	Remarks if any, pertaining to the quality attributes specified for the line items in the SCO

The system displays the following in the ”Quality Attribute Details” multiline

Attribute Code	The code that identifies the unique quality attribute
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item

Enter following fields in the ”Quality Attribute Details” multiline

Reqd Min Value	The minimum acceptable value for the attribute of the item if it is a quantitative parameter (Integer) This cannot be less than “Attribute minimum value” and not greater than “Attribute Max Value”, if the “Attribute Type” is “Quantitative”. This should also be less than the “Required Max Value”
Reqd Max value	The maximum acceptable value for the attribute of the item if it is a quantitative parameter (Integer). This cannot be greater than “Attribute maximum value” and not less than the “Attribute Min value”, if the “Attribute Type” is “Quantitative
Reqd Standard Quantitative Value	The standard value assigned to the quantitative attribute of the part (Integer). This should not be lesser than the “Required Min Value” and not greater than “required Max Value” ,if attribute type is “Quantitative”
Reqd Standard Qualitative Value	The standard value assigned to the quantitative attribute of the part. (Alphanumeric, 20)

The system displays the following:

Attribute Desc.	The textual description of the qualitative attribute
Attribute Type	The type of the quality attribute, which could be “Qualitative” or “Quantitative”.
Attribute Min Value	The minimum quantitative value assigned to the attribute of the item
Attribute Max Value	The maximum quantitative value assigned to the attribute of the item
Standard Quantitative value	The standard value assigned to the quantitative attribute of the part.
Standard Qualitative Value	The standard value assigned to the qualitative attribute of the part.
Trackable	Displays whether the item attribute is trackable or not. The system displays “Yes” or “No

Note: If the mandatory values are not specified then the status of document is put to “draft” status

Click the “Specify Quality Attributes” pushbutton

The quality attribute values are mapped to the SCO

If all the mandatory information has been entered and validated the SCO status is set to “Fresh”

Click the “Approve SCO” pushbutton

The status is set to “Open” if the creator also has the Approval rights and if the LOI field is not checked else the status is set to “Approved LOI”

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “SCO-SCR Coverage” link at the bottom of the page to specify the coverage of SCO with subcontract request

Specify Quality Attributes - An Overview

The page displays all the subcontract details such as the SCO number, amendment number. On giving the SCO line number, the system displays all the item details such as the item code, variant of the item, description of the item, the quantity of item required from the subcontractor, the UOM of the line item.

This page allows you specify both quantitative and qualitative parameters for the items. You can specify the minimum, maximum and the standard attribute value required for a line item.

In this page the quality attribute details for the SCO line items are saved against SCO Number. This page allows you to approve the SCO document
