Specify Quality Attributes

This page allows you specify the quality attributes for the line items in the Subcontract Release Slip (SCRS). Tell me more

Select the “Specify Quality Attributes” link at the bottom of the “Edit SC Release Slip” page

The system displays the following details in the header

SC Release Slip No.	A unique code identifying the SCRS
Amendment No.	A unique code identifying the amendment done to the SCRS.

Enter the following fields in the “Item Details” group box

Line No.

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the item in the SCRS document. The drop-down lists all the line numbers in the SCRS. The lowest of all the SCRS line numbers is set as the default value

The System displays the following fields in the “Item Details” group box

Item Code	The unique code identifying the line item in the SCRS
Variant Code	The variant of the item
Desc.	The textual description of the item
	Zoom facility available
Qty.	The number of units of the line item requested
UOM	The unit of measurement

Enter the following fields in the “Item Details” group box

Quality Attribute	Use the drop-down list box to select the document from which the quality details needs to be defaulted in the multiline.
	None – Indicates that quality details need not defaulted from any document
	Item – Indicates the quality details are defaulted in the multine from the item master
	Supplier-Item – Indicates that the quality details are defaulted in the multine from the supplier master if the line item has mapping to the supplier master
	Reference Doc – Indicates that the quality details are defaulted in the multine from the reference document. The quality attribute of the item in the BSCO is defaulted in the multiline

Click the “Default” pushbutton to display the values entered in the “Default Entries” group box in the multiline

Remarks	The remarks if any, pertaining to the quality attribute
	Example: the remarks could be best within 20 days of manufacturing

The System displays the following in the ”Quality Attribute Details” multiline

Attribute Code	The code that identifies the unique quality attribute
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item in which it is subcontracted

Enter the following fields in the ”Quality Attribute Details” multiline

Required Min Value	The minimum acceptable value for the attribute of the item if it is a quantitative parameter (Integer) This cannot be less than “Attribute minimum value” and not greater than “Attribute Max Value”, if the “Attribute Type” is “Quantitative”. This should also be less than the “Required Max Value”
Required Max value	The maximum acceptable value for the attribute of the item if it is a quantitative parameter (Integer). This cannot be greater than “Attribute maximum value” and not less than the “Attribute Min value” ,if the “Attribute Type” is “Quantitative
Required Standard Quantitative Value	The standard value assigned to the attribute of the part (Integer). This should not be lesser than the “Required Min Value” and not greater than “required Max Value” ,if attribute type is “Quantitative”
Reqd Standard Qualitative Value	The standard value assigned to the quantitative attribute of the part. (Alphanumeric, 20)

The system displays the following in the ”Quality Attribute Details” multiline

Attribute Desc.	The textual description of the qualitative attribute
Attribute Type	The type of the quality attribute, which could be “Qualitative” or “Quantitative”.
Attribute Min Value	The minimum quantitative value assigned to the attribute of the item
Attribute Max Value	The maximum quantitative value assigned to the attribute of the item
Standard Quantitative Value	The standard Quantitative value of the item
Standard Qualitative Value	The standard quality value of the item
Standard value	The standard value assigned to the attribute of the part.
Trackable	Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the attribute is trackable or not. The system lists “Yes” and “No”, as options.

Note: If the mandatory values are not specified then the status of document is put to “draft” status

Click the “Specify Quality Attributes” pushbutton

The quality attributes specified for the line item are saved to the SCRS document

Click the “Approve SC Release Slip” pushbutton to approve the SCRS for further processing

The quality attributes specified for the line item are saved to the SCRS document

If all the mandatory information has been entered and validated the status the SCRS is set to “Open” upon creation of the document

An auto invoice is generated for the total value of those line items with two-way matching type and if auto invoicing is set to “Yes”

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Specify SC Release Slip-SCR Coverage” at the bottom of the page to specify the coverage done by the SCRS against the subcontract request,

Specify Quality Attributes - An Overview

The page displays all the SCRS details such as the SCRS number, amendment number. On giving the SCRS line number, the system displays all the item details such as the item code, variant of the item, description of the item, the quantity of item required from the subcontractor, the unit of measurement of the line item.

This page allows you specify both quantitative and qualitative parameters for the items. You can specify the minimum, maximum and the standard attribute value required for a line item.

In this page the quality attribute details for the SCRS line items along with status are saved against SCRS Number.
