Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series webpage

Using Online Help

This activity allows you to create the transport requirement document number. You can specify the whether the transport is required on a period basis or monthly basis. You can also specify the vehicle type and operating unit for creating the document number. You can also copy the existing document details for creating a new requirement. You can specify the exceptional details like the holidays or national holidays on which the transport facility is required in the exceptions tab. You can view the transport requirement details in the “Details” tab.

The “Transport Requirement” page appears.

Note:  Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

The system displays the following.

Status

The status of the document number. The status can be “Fresh”, “Under Amendment”, “Cancelled” or “Deleted”.

Document No.

A unique number identifying the transport requirement document.

Document Date

The date on which the document was created. This date should be equal to or earlier than the system date.

Revision No.

Use the drop-down list box to view the route revisions.

Mode

Use the drop-down list box to select the mode for which you wish to record the details. The combo is loaded with “Period” and “Month”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Vehicle Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle type. The combo is loaded with the values defined for the Code – Vehicle Type in TMS Common Codes. Mandatory.

Operating Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the operating unit. The combo is loaded with the OUs where the Transport Schedule is deployed.

Year

Use the drop-down list box to select the year. The combo is loaded with the values defined for the code – Year in TMS common codes.

Month

Use the drop-down list box to select the month. The combo is loaded with the values defined for the code – Month in TMS common codes.

Note:  Year and Month fields are visible, when the Mode is selected as “Month”.

Date From

The date from the vehicle is required.

Date To

The date until which the vehicle is required.

Note: Date From and Date To fields are visible, when the Mode is selected as “Period”.

Copy From

A unique number identifying the source document number from which you wish to copy the requirement details.

The system creates the Unique Document number and retrieves the “Regular” Day Type details.

Note: The system excludes the exceptional details of the document number.

Day Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the day type. The combo is loaded with “Regular” and “Exceptional”. The system displays “Regular” by default on launch of the page.

Date

Use the drop-down list box to select the exceptional dates.

Note: Date field is visible when the “Day Type” is selected as “Exceptional”.

Shift

Use the drop-down list box to select the shift. The comb is loaded with the values defined for the code – Shift in TMS common codes activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following.

Shift Description

The detailed description of the shift.

Shift Start Time

The time at which the shift starts.

Shift End time

The time at which the shift ends.

Passenger Type

Use the drop-down to select the passenger type. The combo is loaded with “Management Employee”, “Workmen” and “Visitor”. The system displays “all” by default on launch of the page.

Seq.No.

A unique number identifying the route sequence. Mandatory.

Route No.

A unique number identifying the route. This should be “Active” in status.

The system displays the details in the “Route Details” multiline.

From Location

Indicates the origin location associated with the route number.

To Location

The destination location associated with the route number.

Head Count

Total number of people who travels in the specified route. Mandatory.

Time At Origin

The start time from the origin location.

Time At Destination

The end time at the destination location.

Tab: Exceptions

Seq No.

A unique number identifying the route sequence.

From Date

The date from which you wish to record the route exception details.

To Date

The date until which you wish to record the route exception details.

The system displays the details in the “Route Details” multiline.

Day of Week

A particular day for which you wish to record the exception details.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the exception type. The combo is loaded with “National Holiday”, “Weekly Off” and “Bandh”. The system displays “National Holiday” by default on launch of the page.

Reference S No

Use the drop-down list box to select the reference serial number for which you wish to record the exceptional details.

Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the exceptional details.

Day Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the day type. The combo is loaded with “Regular” and “Exceptional”. The system displays “Regular” by default on launch of the page.

Date

Use the drop-down list box to select the date for which you wish to view the details.

Note: Date field is visible when the “Day Type” is selected as “Exceptional”.

Shift

Use the drop-down list box to select the shift. The comb is loaded with the values defined for the code – Shift in TMS common codes activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Route No.

A unique number identifying the route.

Passenger Type

The passenger type for whom the transportation is required.

Head Count

Total number of people who travels in the specified route.

Time at Origin

The start time from the origin location.

Time at Destination

The end time at the destination location.

S. No.

A unique number identifying the route sequence.

Route Points

Indicates the route points of the trip.

Distance From Origin

Indicates the distance in terms of Kilometers from the origin place.

Head Count

Number of people in the particular route.

Arrival Time

The time at which the vehicle arrives to the route.

Departure Time

The time at which the vehicle starts from the route.

Waiting Time

The waiting time of the vehicle.

Activity

A unique code identifying the activity. This should be in “Active” status.

Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the activity.

The system creates a unique document number based upon the numbering type.

The system updates the document number status as “Under Amendment”.

Note: Only the Confirmed status of the document number can be amended.

The system updates the document number status as “Confirmed”.

Note: Only “Fresh” status of the document number can be confirmed.

The system updates the status of the document number to “Cancelled”.

Note: Only “Confirmed” status of the document number can be cancelled.

The system updates the status of the document number to “Deleted”.

Note: Only “Fresh” status of the document number can be deleted.

The system displays the following details in the “Data History” group box.

Created By

The name of the person who created the document details.

Created Date

The date on which the document details were created.

Modified By

The name of the person who modified the details.

Modified Date

The date on which the document details were modified.
