Transport Schedule
This activity allows you to schedule the vehicles against a transport requirement document number. You can allocate the vehicles from the vehicle master for this schedule purpose. Based on the Day Type, Route, Shift combinations, you can map the vehicles. You can even un map the already mapped vehicle(s) and mapping once again the requirement to a new vehicle can be possible. You can also view the scheduled details on vehicle wise, route wise, passenger wise, shift wise and driver wise in the vehicle plan tab.
Select the “Transport Schedule” activity under the "Transport Planning” business component.
The “Transport Schedule” page appears.
Note: Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
The system displays the following.

Status |
The status of the schedule number. The status can be “Fresh”, or “Confirmed” or “Under Amendment”. |
Enter the following details:

Schedule No. |
A unique number identifying the transport schedule for which you wish to schedule the vehicles. |
Note: On entering the Schedule Number, the system displays the unmapped details in the Vehicle Mapping tab.
Enter the following details:

Document No. |
A unique number identifying the transport requirement details. This should be in Confirmed status. Mandatory. |

Revision No. |
Use the drop-down list box to view the transport schedule revisions. |
|
Date |
The date on which the schedule is created. |
The system displays the following.

Vehicle Type |
The vehicle type identified for the transport schedule. |
Note: This field is visible when the mode is selected as “Vehicle Wise”.
The system displays the following.

Operating Unit |
The operating unit in which the schedule can be possible. |
|
Year |
The year for which the schedule is required. |
|
Month |
The month for which the schedule is required. |
|
Date From |
The date from which the transport schedule is required. |
|
Date To |
The date until which the transport schedule is required. |

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Vehicle No. |
A unique number identifying the vehicle for which you wish to schedule against a requirement. This should be Active in status. |
The system displays the following details in the multiline.

Vehicle Nature |
The vehicle nature as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |

Vehicle Model |
The vehicle nature as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |

Vehicle Group |
The vehicle group as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |

Available Capacity |
The vehicle seating capacity. |

Supplier Code |
A unique code identifying the supplier, if the vehicle is hired. |

Contract No. |
A unique code identifying the contract number. Mandatory, if the vehicle is hired. |

Contract Line No. |
A unique code identifying the line level details of the contract no. Mandatory, if the vehicle is hired. |
The system displays the following details in the multiline.

Rate |
Indicates the vehicle hired rate mentioned in the contract. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the rate. |

Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the vehicle. |

Select the following:

Day Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the day type. The combo is loaded with “Regular”, “Regular Exploded” and “Exceptional”. The system displays “Regular” by default on launch of the page. |

Date |
Use the drop-down list box to select the date for which you wish to allocate the vehicle. |
Note: “Date” control is visible when “Day Type” is selected as “Exceptional” and “Regular Exploded”.

Seq No. |
A unique number identifying the route sequence. |

Shift |
The shift specified in the document. |
|
Route |
A unique number identifying the route. |
|
Passenger Type |
The passenger type for whom the transport schedule has to be allotted. |

Head Count |
Number of people associated with the requirement document number. |
|
Vehicle No. |
A unique number identifying the vehicle. |
|
Vehicle Nature |
The nature of the vehicle as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |
|
Seating Capacity |
The seating capacity of the vehicle. |
|
Vehicle Type |
The vehicle type as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |

Vehicle Model |
The vehicle model as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |
Click “Allocate” pushbutton to allocate.
The system allocates the details and refreshes both the multilines with remaining un-mapped details.

Select the following details:

Use the drop-down list box to select the mode. The combo is loaded with “All”, “Vehicle Wise”, “Route Wise”, “Passenger Wise”, “Shift Wise” and “Driver Wise”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle number for which you wish to deallocate the details. |

Passenger Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the passenger type for which you wish to view the details. The combo is loaded with “Management Staff”, “Workmen” and “Visitor”. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the driver code for which you wish to view the details. |

A unique number identifying the vehicle. |

The vehicle category as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |

Passenger Type |
The passenger type for whom you wish to view the details. |

Date |
The date on which the plan has to be deallocated. |

Shift |
The vehicle shift as defined in the Maintain Codes activity of TMS Common Master component. |

A unique code identifying the driver of the vehicle. |

Driver Name |
The driver name of the vehicle. |
The system displays the following details.

Shift Start Time |
The time at which the shift starts. |
|
Shift End Time |
The time at which the shift ends. |

Route No. |
A unique number identifying the vehicle route. |
|
Allocated Capacity |
The number of vehicles allocated. |
|
Available Capacity |
The number of vehicles available. |
|
Vehicle Reporting Time |
The time at which the vehicle has to be reported. |
|
Route Points |
The vehicle route points as defined in the Route Master of TMS Common Masters component. |
|
Distance From Origin |
The distance in terms of Kilometers from the origin place. |
|
Trip No. |
A unique number identifying the trip. |
|
Trip Status |
The status of the trip. The status can be “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Short-Closed” or “Under Amendment”. |
Click “Deallocate” pushbutton to deallocate.
The system loads the respective deallocated dates in the “Date” field against the “Regular Exploded” field.
Note: The “Deallocate” pushbutton is visible when the mode is selected as “Vehicle Wise”.
The system refreshes the multiline with the allocated details.
The system displays the following.

The number of owned vehicles which has been mapped. |

No: of Leased Vehicles |
The number of leased vehicles which has been mapped. |

No: of Passengers |
The number of passengers for which the schedule has been scheduled. |

No: of Routes |
The number of routes for which the schedule has been done. |
|
Cumulative Days Shifts |
The total sum of the shift days for which the schedule has been done. |
|
Cumulative Km |
The total sum of the kilometer for which the schedule has been done. |
Click “Maintain” pushbutton to maintain the schedule number.
The system creates a unique schedule number in fresh status.
Click “Confirm” pushbutton to confirm the schedule number.
The system updates the schedule number status as confirmed and generates the unique trip number for the mapped vehicle numbers in fresh status.
Note: Only “Fresh” status of the schedule number can be confirmed.
Click “Delete” pushbutton to delete the schedule number.
The system updates the schedule number status as deleted.
Note: Only “Fresh” status of the schedule number can be deleted.
Click “Amend” pushbutton to amend
The system updates the schedule number status as “Under Amendment”.
Note: Only “Confirmed” status of the schedule number can be amended.
Click “Cancel” pushbutton to cancel
The system updates the schedule number status as “Cancelled”.
Note: Only “Confirmed” status of the schedule number can be cancelled.
The system displays the following details in the “Data History” group box.
