Authorize Subcontracting Issue
This page allows you to update, authorize or return the items issued for subcontracting through the subcontracting issue transaction. The subcontracting issue records issue of material from a warehouse based on the subcontract order or subcontract release slip. Subcontracting issues can be authorized only if the user has the requisite “Authorize” permission. You can also return the subcontracting issue transaction if you find any discrepancy in the details entered.
Select “Authorize Subcontracting Issue” link at the top of the “Select Subcontracting Issue” page.
The “Authorize Subcontracting Issue” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Status |
The status of the subcontracting issue transaction which will be Blank when you launch the screen first time. |

Transaction No. |
The number identifying the subcontracting issue transaction. which will be generated once you submit or you can specify the number manually if the value of the numbering type combo is ‘Manual’. |
Enter the following:

Transaction Date |
The date on which the transaction took place.(Date Format) |
|
Warehouse Code |
The unique code of the warehouse from which the item is issued. (Alphanumeric, 10) |

Subcontracting Point |
Use the drop-down list box to select the point to which the items are to be issued from the warehouse. All the consumption points where the "Subcontracting Work Order" component is installed and mapped to the login OU are displayed here from the “CIM Modulator” component. . This is the Org. Unit which is responsible for the subcontracting function. |

Ref. Doc. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of reference document. The system provides the options, “Subcontracting Order", "Subcontracting Release Slip" and “All”. The system sets this field to “All” by default. |

Posting FB |
The finance book that has posted the subcontracting issue transaction Posting FB is carried over from the Ref. Doc and is not allowed to be changed. It is a display only field. The subcontract WIP account will be debited and posted to this finance book.. |

Supplier Code |
The unique code identifying the supplier to whom the items are delivered on subcontract from the warehouse. Supplier should be a valid supplier of the company. |

Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier to whom the required quantity of items are to be provided for the production of finished goods. |

Note: The “Project Details” group box is visible only when the “SC order” is associated to a “Project Code”.
Click the “Default Storage Details” pushbutton to retrieve the default values for zone/bin combination, lot and sub lot numbers, and starting and ending serial number fields in the multiline. The default details for the particular item/variant combination defined in the “Storage Administration” component for the selected warehouse will be fetched and displayed here.

The number of units of the item that is issued (Integer). Mandatory. Ensure that the number entered in this field is greater than zero. |

Alternate UOM |
The alternate unit of measurement for a catchweight item. |
Enter the following in the “Item Information” multiline:

Alternate Qty |
The alternate quantity for a catchweight item. (Integer).This quantity is fetched on entering the Issue Qty. |

Stock Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the stock status of the item issued. All the stock statuses that are applicable to the subcontracting issue transaction and are allowed for the particular type of warehouse will be displayed here. |

Zone |
The number identifying the zone in which the item is stored in the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 10). This zone number must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” component. |

The number identifying the bin in which the item is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). This bin number must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” component. |

Lot No. |
The unique number identifying the lot in the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory (if the item to be issued is lot controlled). |

Starting Serial No. |
The starting serial number of the item that is to be to be issued (Alphanumeric, 28). Mandatory (if the item to be issued is serial controlled). |

Ending Serial No. |
The ending serial number of the item that is to be to be issued (Alphanumeric, 28). |

Note: For serial controlled items, starting serial number is mandatory. However, you can choose to either specify the ending serial number or leave it blank. If you leave the ending serial number field blank, the system calculates and displays the ending serial number depending upon the quantity you specify.

Issue Serial No. |
This is the serial in which each ref doc line is scheduled for delivery. Under a single ref. doc line number there could number of schedules due on different This number represents the schedule in which the items are to be issued to the supplier from the warehouse. The issue serial number is mapped to the schedule listed in the subcontracting order. |

Issue Date |
The date of issue of items from the warehouse specified by the subcontracting order for each issue serial number. |
|
Available Qty. |
The total quantity of the particular item available in the warehouse is displayed. |
Check the “Select” column in the multiline to select the transaction for viewing item details, lot information, serial number information, financial information, inquiring warehouse stock, disposition review and attaching notes.
Click the “Update Issue” pushbutton to update and save the subcontracting issue transaction.
Click the “Authorize Issue” pushbutton to authorize the subcontracting issue transaction.
The system displays a success message.
The status of the subcontracting issue transaction is changed to “Authorized” and the reference document details are updated.
The system displays an error message if you click the “Authorize Issue” pushbutton without selecting any record in the multiline.
Click the “Return Issue” pushbutton to return the subcontracting issue transaction without authorizing.

The login id of the user who created the subcontracting issue transaction. |

Created Date |
The date on which the subcontracting issue transaction is created. |

Last Modified By |
The login id of the user who last modified the subcontracting issue transaction. |

The date on which the subcontracting issue transaction was last modified. |

Select the “View Serial Details” link at the bottom of the page to view the serial number information.
Select “Financial Information” link at the bottom of the page to view the financial information for the subcontracting issue transaction.
Select “Attach Notes” link at the bottom of the page to attach notes for the subcontracting receipt transaction.
Select “Stock Status Review” link at the bottom of the page to inquire the warehouse information.
Select “Disposition Review” link at the bottom of the page to review the dispositionable stock.
Select “View Item Substitute” link at the bottom of the page to view the item substitutes.
Select “View Warehouse Details” link at the bottom of the page to view storage information.
Select the “Tax Calculation Summary” link at the bottom of the page to edit the tax calculation details.
Select the “Update Form Details” link at the bottom of the page to specify the form details of the reference document.
