Edit Opening Balance – A Summary of the Activity
This activity allows you to select, modify and delete the details of the opening balance. Opening balance transaction is created when the business operations in an organization changes over from a manual to a computerized system of functioning or in the event of adding the existing stock of an item into the warehouse. The details of opening balances can be modified only if the created opening balance transaction is not in “Authorized” status and no transaction such as issue/receipt has occurred on the item/variant whose opening balance details need to be modified.
The “Select Opening Balance Transaction” page allows you to search and select an opening balance transaction for modification or deletion. The “Edit Opening Balance” page allows you to modify, authorize or delete the details of opening balance. The “View Item Details” page allows you to view details of items. The “Edit Sub Lot Information” page allows you to modify the sub lot details. The “Edit Serial No. Information” page allows you to modify the details of serially controlled item variants. The “Edit Rate Information” page allows you to modify the rate and value of items if the costing method is not standard cost. The “View Storage allocation Details” allows you to view the storage category and storage rule in the warehouse. The “View Warehouse Stock” page allows you to view the warehouse stock information. The “View Warehouse Information” page allows you to view the storage information. Transactions can be authorized from entry page, main page, sub lot page , serial page or rate page
