Container Information By Container

Select the " Inquire Container Information By Container" activity under the " Stock Maintenance" business component

The “Container Information By Container” page appears.

Enter the following details:

Stocking Point

Use the drop-down list box to select the stocking point or OU for which you wish to inquire the stock. All the OUs where the “Stock Maintenance” component is deployed will be displayed here in alphabetical order. The system displays the current login OU by default if the login OU is one of the values in the drop-down list box. Else, the system displays the first value from the list.

The system displays the following:

Stocking Point Description	The textual description of the stocking point.
	Zoom facility available.

Enter the following details:

Warehouse Code	The code identifying the warehouse. The system checks whether the warehouse is existing and active. The system throws an error if the warehouse code is left blank.
	Help facility available.

The system displays the following:

Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
	Zoom facility available.

Enter the following details:

Container item Code	The code identifying the item in the container. The system raises an error if container item code is left blank (Alphanumeric, 40)
	Help facility available.

The system displays the following:

Container item Description	The textual description of the item in the container.
	Zoom facility available.

Enter the following details:

Container ID	The code identifying the container. The system raise an error if container id is left blank when container item is serial controlled.
	Help facility available.

Click the “Get Details “ pushbutton to retrieve and display the details.

The system displays the following in the “Container Details“ group box.

Total Number of Containers	The total number of containers in the warehouse.
Total Number of Empty Containers	The total number of empty containers in the warehouse.

The system displays the following in the “Constituent Item Details” multiline:

Item Code	The code identifying the item.
Variant	The code identifying the variant.
Item Variant Description	The textual description of the item variant.
Zone	The number identifying the zone in the warehouse in which the item is stored. The system displays zone only if the warehouse is normal. If warehouse is free, the system does not display the zone.
Bin	The number identifying the bin in which the item is stored in the zone. The system displays bin only if the zone is normal. If the zone is free, the system does not display bin.
Lot Number	The number identifying the lot in the warehouse.
Sub Lot Number	The number identifying the sub-lot under the lot.
Quantity	The total amount of stock quantity in the selected warehouse for the lot / sub lot.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item.
Alternate Quantity	The alternate quantity for a catchweight item.
Alternate UOM	The alternate unit of measurement of the item.
Stock Status	The stock status of the items stored in the container.
Number of Containers	The number of containers stored in the warehouse.
Container Item Status	The status of the item in the container. The system checks whether the status of the item is of item type “container”.
