Using online help

This page allows you to view the details of serial controlled items along with their reference serial number. You can also view the quantity of serial controlled stock in the warehouse. You need to specify the line number of the serial numbered item to view its details.

The “View Serial Information” page appears.

Note:This page would be launched only if the item is serial controlled

The system displays the following:

Item Code

A unique code identifying the item.

Variant Code

A unique code identifying the variant, if the item supports variants.

Stock UOM

The unit of measurement of the item stocked in the warehouse.

Item Variant Desc.

The textual description of the item/variant.

 

Zoom facility available

Warehouse Code

A unique code identifying the warehouse in which the item is stored.

  1. Enter the following details in the header

Line No.

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the zone/bin combination. A line number is generated sequentially for each zone/bin in the multiline in the main page. The system retrieves all the line numbers from the “Warehouse stock Information” page and displays them. The system displays “1” by default.

The system displays the following details in the header

Zone

The number identifying the zone in which the item is stored in the warehouse.

Bin

The number identifying the bin in which the item is stored.

Lot No.

The number identifying the lot.

Qty.

The total amount of stock quantity of serial controlled items. The quantity displayed here is the sum of all serial stock quantities in the multiline. The quantity is displayed in stock UOM.

Stock Status

The stock status of the serial controlled items in the warehouse.

The system displays the following in the “Serial No. Information” multiline:

Serial No.

The unique serial for the item/variant.

Ref. Serial No.

The serial number provided by the vendor/manufacturer.

Qty.

The number of units of serial stock. The system displays the quantity in terms of units of items.
