Update Statistics – A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to calculate the stock quantity and stock value at the end of a financial period for a selected financial year. The financial years selected for updating statistics must be on or before the current system date. The system retrieves the financial periods for the selected financial year. The system checks whether the status of the financial year/period is closed or open.

The system lists only those financial years and corresponding financial periods for which update statistics have not been previously performed. If financial year closing quantity and value has been already calculated and statistics updated for any of the closed financial year/period, the system will not list them for updating statistics.
