Map Default Methods

This page allows you to map default methods that are already defined using the “Set Default Methods” page. You can select a default method from the “Default Methods” drop-down list box and map it to a warehouse code and transaction combination.

Select the “Map Default Methods” link under the “Storage Administration” business component.

The “Map Default Methods” page appears.

Enter the following fields:

Warehouse Code	Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse code of the warehouse for which a default method is to be mapped. All the warehouse codes of warehouses that are created using the “Create Warehouse Information” page are displayed in the “Warehouse Code” drop-down list box. The system also displays the values “All” and “Blank”. The system sets this field “Blank” by default.
Transaction	Use the “Transaction” drop-down list box to select the transaction for which a default method is to be mapped. The system displays the following values, “Stock Issue”, “”Stock Return”, “Stock Receipt”, “Stock Transfer”, “Blank” and “All:” The system sets this field “Blank” by default.
Default Method	Use the “Default Method” drop-down list box to select the default method for the warehouse code and transaction combination. The system displays the values, “A”, “B” and ”None”. The system sets this field to “None” by default.

Click the “Set Mappings” pushbutton to define the mapping for the warehouse code and transaction combination
