Help On Permit

This page allows you to search and select the permit details and transfer the same to the main page. You can initiate the search on entering the starting and ending range of the permit numbers, permit type, the description of the permit, issued by, created at OU, the starting and ending range of the permit validity dates, route number, vehicle number and the permit status in the search criteria. You can specify a single field or a combination of fields in the search criteria. The system retrieves corresponding results that match the criteria in the multiline. Otherwise, the system retrieves blank records in the multiline. These details are transferred to the main page when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned along the “Permit No” field.

The “Help On Permit” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

From Permit No	The starting range of the permit number from which you wish to retrieve the details.
To Permit No	The ending range of the permit number upto which you wish to retrieve the details.
Permit Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the permit type for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the permit types created in the “Maintain Codes” activity of the Codes Master component.
Permit Description	The permit description for which you wish to retrieve the details.
Issued By	Use the drop-down list box to select the name of the person who issued the permit for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with details created in the “Maintain Codes” activity of the Codes Master component.
Created at OU	Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit at which the permit details was created for which you wish to retrieve the details.
Valid From	The starting date range of the permit validity from which you wish to retrieve the details.
Valid Until	The ending date range of the permit validity upto which you wish to retrieve the details.
Route No.	A unique number identifying the vehicle route for which you wish to retrieve the details.
Vehicle No	A unique number identifying the vehicle for which you wish to retrieve the details.
Permit Status	Use the drop-down list box to select permit status for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with “All”, “Active”, “Amended”, “Deleted”, “Fresh”, “Inactive” and “Under Amendment”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the permit details.

For the combinations specified in the search criteria, the system retrieves the permit details to the multiline using “%” operator if only a single field is specified.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Result” multiline:

Permit No	A unique number identifying the permit number.
Permit Type	Indicates the vehicle permit type.
Permit Description	The description of the permit.
Issued By	Indicates the name of the authority who issued the permit.
Valid From	The starting date range of the permit validity.
Valid Until	The ending date range of the permit validity.
Vehicle No	A unique number identifying the vehicle.
Route No.	A unique number identifying the vehicle route.
Status	The status of the vehicle permit. The status can be “Active”, or “Amended”, or “Deleted”, or “Fresh”, or “Inactive” or “Under Amendment”.
Created at OU	Indicates the organization unit at which the permit details were created.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the permit details.
Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer the permit details to the main page.
